bane313
Hi all! First time doing this, so here's to hoping I do this right! I'm a huge comic nerd and my favourite character is Daniel Rand, the Iron Fist. He's equal parts focus, skill, and faith which makes him a great inspiration for a druid! A clean temple for a clean life Do the dishes five nights a week Clean the entire house (including vacuuming and bathrooms) once a week Meditation and faith Complete a bible reading every day and write my thoughts down about it (maybe even in this thread!) Go to church twice Repetition builds reputation Cycle a minimum of 10km, 4 times a week Complete 15 minutes of yoga every day Resemble Danny Rand more than Fat Cobra Eat out no more than once a week This is just the first step in my training. I've basically just entered K'un-Lun as a child and will be working towards eventually taking on Shou-Lao the Undying. Quote Link to comment
mollytigerc
I love your goal names! How goes your first few days of the challenge? Quote Link to comment
PrincessGlam
Just wondering what you've been reading in the Bible... I've been camped out in Colossians for a while and it makes me super excited about all the work that God is doing Would love to hear your thoughts. My physical transformatory (I don't know if that's a real word) journey has made such a spiritual impact I'm always excited to hear about other people's experiences that link the two together. A clean temple for a clean life Do the dishes five nights a week - Not going to lie, it's been hard to will myself to do this every night. I need to set a reminder on my phone so that I don't just click next episode. Clean the entire house (including vacuuming and bathrooms) once a week - This too. Meditation and faith Complete a bible reading every day and write my thoughts down about it (maybe even in this thread!) - This has been going well. They haven't been big readings, but just enough to give me something to think about. Go to church twice - This week I need to research churches in my area that offer evening service. Repetition builds reputation Cycle a minimum of 10km, 4 times a week - I've been holding off on this as my arthritis is flaring up and I don't want to agitate it any more than I have to. Going to seee a doctor this morning. Complete 15 minutes of yoga every day - I've actually been really good at this one and have been enjoying it before bed every night! Resemble Danny Rand more than Fat Cobra Eat out no more than once a week - So far, so good on this one! Quote Link to comment

It talks about the different areas of life that we need to hone. This week, in particular, is our minds, and how we're called to do research and to be informed so that we can speak and not be heard. For a long while, a favourit thing of mine was to download a sermon and go for a walk in the mountains. It was a great way of digesting some gospel and viewing God's creation! Quote Link to comment
