Twilight
I had a pretty great challenge last round! I've made really great progress on getting good sleep on a regular basis. I'm stretching fairly regularly. I have an art project in mind and a due date (a gift for my parents' 40th anniversary in April). I have specific exercises I want to add back into my daily routine (i.e. desk pushups). So this challenge's goals are identical to the last one! I will keep logging in my paper logbook, and report my numbers on a weekly basis. Goals Sleep more than 7 hours 7x per week Stretch 3x per week Make art 1x per week Try something new/old each week (lift, swim, sledgehammer, run (UGH), etc) Disclaimer: I'm a queer, genderqueer (they/them pronouns), poly, kinky, social justice tank. The photos I share here will be SFW, but if you follow the link to my Instagram page, you will probably see things that are not. 5 Quote Link to post

New fitness goal deadline: strengthen my core in time for the rope intensive weekend in three weeks! Hellooo planks. Just gotta be careful to not overdo it as I recover from this cold. There are specific ropes for gym climbing that would be more suitable. Those tend to be a lot thicker, non-elastic, but also quite rough. You could also consider buying aerial rope/corde lisse as it's much nicer to hold. It's a bit different though as it has more give to it. Don't know about cost, but I can imagine it's more expensive so might not be worth it. Quote Link to post

mom2sjm
It'll be interesting to see what you come up with for the 40th anniversary gift for your parents! My husband and I exchange gifts based on the traditional gift and see how creative we can get with it. Like last year was 22 years and the traditional gift for 22 is copper. I ordered us "copper" silicone wedding bands because we are both very active and regular wedding bands can be a pain. He got me a really cool copper water bottle. FYI: 40th is ruby... Twilight
Hey all! I've been sick since my birthday on the 15th - BOO. I'm still not 100%, but I'm in the office today. Needless to say, my plans have been altered. I've been doing a decent job at stretching fairly regularly, but have not been up for planks, and my sleep has been terrible. I'm getting my materials together for my art project though, so that's good. Doing a lot of resting. It's just a cold, but it's a doozy. I blame my gf for bringing a cold back from her vacation in Florida. You can use all kinds of things for bondage, but do be careful if you're planning on having it hold your weight - that takes rope that's intended to be load bearing. Twilight
I'm sad because the Pokemon Go updates seem to get pushed to my device late, so while I've been seeing lots of water Pokemon, I haven't seen any shinies yet. Standing at my desk, doing calf raises and stretching and inclined push ups! Yoga at lunch today. I've been bad about updating my log book. I need to make a new one. And dancing, too!
