I have multiple projects to do and I keep adding new ones before I even start or finish old projects. I have 3 projects I want to work on this month and 1 or more HAVE to be finished. I have the whole challenge to finish this.

Task 2 : “It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place." - The Red Queen

It's about finding out what is keeping me in the same place and then figuring out a solution to fix the problems. I know it might seem easier to keep doing the same things over and over and while I’ve made some progress, I’d like to see more. I have the whole challenge to complete this. 

 

Questions to ask myself - What do I do that keeps me in the same place? Am I doing things that are making it harder on myself? Make a list and then make a change.

Task 3 : “I dare say you haven’t had much practice,” said the queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

My subconscious can be fairly imaginative, specially if I eat pizza before bed. I dream some funky dreams but that doesn't often translate to my waking hours. I think this is because I’ve set limits and have told myself too many times, “You can’t do that so why try?” I want to focus on building my imagination with practice and action. Either start week 2 or week 3 depending on how the other tasks go. 

 

Have 1, 10 min imagination session a day, embrace the multiple spontaneous sessions I can get in, try something I previously said was impossible.

Week 4 is going to tie in with week 3 because I’ve always wanted to write but I’m terrible at writing and grammar. This is a scary goal! 

 

Write for 10 mins a day because it’s not impossible, I want to work on my imagination and maybe it will help me learn to express myself better.

3 Body weight workouts - Startbodyweight.com - Starting at 10 reps each

1 cardio/yoga a week. 

Workout Days = Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

 

Mad Hatter

Meal Prep = Lunches & Breakfast prep the night before & Dinner planned.

 

White Rabbit

Sunday - Thursday - In bed by 10:30pm & 1st alarm, 6:20am, 2nd alarm 6:35am (extra alarms will be set for backup).

Fri & Saturday - No bedtime but up before 10am.

Read at lunch and during downtime.

I've spent the last 4 days cleaning my living room, dining room and entry way. I have a box of stuff to donate and almost all surfaces are clear of paper or junk. I have 4 or 5 bags of stuff that need to be trashed or recycled. I still need to go through my computer desk, office bookcase, 2 large bookcases and 2 entertainment shelves. Then I can work on moving a bookcase upstairs, possibly moving all my books upstairs, and vacuuming and shampooing the carpet. My dog and I have ruined the carpet but still hoping I can salvage it.

When I'm home, I'm in my living room. I don't generally use the other rooms so my living room and kitchen are a disaster. It's easier to set things down on the dining room table I never use rather than put them away. Which is the way of thinking I need to get away from. 

 

I have unpacked boxes in my linen closet and 2nd bedroom that have not been unpacked since I moved in as well....almost 6 years ago. I guess I should just donate those because I obviously don't need them.

YES on powering through the clutter and purging stuff. I barely put a dent in the stuff I wanted to get through in our living room a few weeks ago. I can't really handle taking any of it on on weeknights but weekends are so busy that it may have to become a night time thing. You are inspiring meeee.

This was the first thing I did when i moved in. Painted the one long wall in my living room this blue. It's my favorite! If My place actually got some natural light the whole living room would be this color.

I used to try to put it off on weekends but weekends are for fun stuff! This is not fun. Lol. Although once I get my mirror done and moved, I can start going through all my books...that might be fun.

I still have to take down my old ugly vertical blinds and put up a curtain rod to put up curtains. Not sure when that will happen. I want to move my gold mirror from upstairs down to hang above the fireplace. I want to move the bookcase in the picture above, upstairs to my bedroom and move one small bookcase from my bedroom downstairs(maybe). I want to get rid of my current huge dining room table because I never use it (except for crafting) or have guests over and get one of those small round tables. I have a lot of ideas for my living room I still need to do. :)

Productive night after my OfferUp meetup had to reschedule. 

 

Took out all 5 trash bags from cleaning the living room/dining room/entry way. Put all my cardboard I need to recycle in a spot to remind me to take it with me tomorrow. Also moved my donation pile to a spot to remind me to drop it off this weekend. Put my guitar and violin away and vacuumed the floor. Then to end the night I purged my CDs down from 6 boxes to 2.5!
