Coming Back

Recommended Posts

So I kinda vanished a bit over the winter, and let my noted lack of self-discipline get to me.  I'm off my pysch meds, and needing to get back in the swing of things.  So I'm not really doing a challenge, per se.  I'm putting myself on a diet and just trying to get moving again.  The reformed HEMA club is about to start up, with a much more formal curriculum and I need to get myself into the right mental and physical shape to run it.  Therefore I'm starting with a diet...  basically a modified slimfast plan (two protein shakes as break fast and lunch, no more than three snacks, normal dinner), and just working on getting up and moving again.

I'm still oversleeping horribly in the mornings which cuts into any proposed workout time, but I need to get back into walking more, yoga more (10 minutes of desk yoga would work), and I now have a week night set aside for club practice.  With any luck people will actually show up.  This is going to be a non-graded challenge to get myself motivated.

the tracking for sleep and activity went kaput on my Galaxy gear, so I don't have accurate numbers

I laid down around 11:00 pm and overslept by around 3 hours, making myself late for work, so I spent most of the day in "Oh S**T mode."

Diet: 1720 goal calories - 1128 food + app 666 cals from exercise = 1258 calories to spare, and a yelling at from my MFP app on not eating enough

4/6

Sleep:  7 hours 7 minutes @ 94% efficiency 6 hours 45 minutes actual sleep

Activity:  184 minutes, 17427 steps, 13.97 km

Diet: 1720 goal calories - 3280 food + 1182 exercise = 378 calories over budget.  Yesterday was a charity pizza lunch at work, so I think I escaped pretty well ;)
