Last challenge was a struggle to find the determination to follow through with my goals. This challenge I'm going to keep it simple. Me, keep things simple, yeah ok but I’m gonna try real hard. At least for the challenge. Haha

Completed one of my to do list items! Finally signed up for a new gym. Almost talked myself out of it multiple times, telling myself I can do it tomorrow. Made more excuses like, it's raining, I'm wearing my work clothes, I want to go in and sign up then workout and I don't have time today. I said screw you voice, no excuses! Didn't have time for a workout but I did take advantage of the hydro massage. I've had a migraine all day and this really helped. The $20 a month is totally worth it, even if I just go in for this! 

 

Had a pretty productive day/night as well. Picked up trash, put away the clean dishes in dishwasher, put dirty dishes in and ran the dishwasher, cleaned out one sink & washed some pots. Completed my Warrior AMRAP quest for my Jonesy's Fun Adventure game. I finished writing up some of my beginner quests for my game. I still need to write up something for my last 3 Guild Leaders.

 

Fitness :

Workout 0/12

AMRAP : 3/4th push up with 5 sec eccentric = 5 (Increase from my last attempt, which was 3)

 

Health : 

Meal Plan : 0/4      

Eat at Home : 0/15

So I've been ultra lazy and a mess in the kitchen, plates EVERYWHERE! I think it's been the main reason why I've been either getting take out or fast food. The task was just getting out of hand so I avoided it. Now the counters are clear and only have 1 sink left to clean. Progress!

Got home and took a nap then headed to the gym to get my membership finished. They needed a voided check, who the heck carries checks with them anymore? Did my first workout at my new gym and my first cardio session in about a month. Forgot to get a locker lock so I'm adding that to my shopping list for Sunday. Also I'm kind of loving the hydro massage after a workout. Got home and watched some NCIS and decided to get to bed early. I have a long day tomorrow and need to leave at least by 9am for the March for Science in Seattle.

Yeah, it's hard to want to cook when the kitchen is a mess. And it's hard to want to clean it when it's a giant mess...

Weekend Update! 

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day on Saturday and that lasted until about 8:30am. Did some bujo/meal planning and cleaning before heading out to catch the train into Seattle. Participated in the March for Science and did the whole 3 miles. We were moving pretty quick and did it in about 1 hour and 30 mins. I missed most of the speakers trying to meet up with my friends though. Good news though, my new shoe lace style helped keep my toes from going numb or hurting during the march. Feet were only a little sore from walking. Now my knee was another matter. I stopped by Planet Fitness on the way home and did a hydro massage (I must be addicted) and that helped for like 30 mins.

I had planned on doing some shopping and laundry and cleaning after the march but I could barely bend my knee. It made moving difficult. I iced it on and off all night then went to bed before 11pm. 

 

Sunday I woke up early again and I could actually put weight on my left knee. My calf was killer though, I'll take it! Had breakfast and worked on my adventure game and got 2 more quests. Went to my dad's house to watch the Sounders kick LA Galaxy ass and finished my knitted rectangle! Finished meal planning and then went grocery shopping. Cleaned out my fridge, started a load of laundry, started the dishwasher, hard boiled some eggs and made lunch for tomorrow. Got in a quick workout, used a wine bottle as a "foam" roller, then spent the rest of the night working on my bujo. Drank a crap ton of water and barely ate any sugary things!   

 

Fitness :

Workout 3/12

3 mile walk - March for Science

Warm up:

10 calf raises (these really hurt)

10 arm circles

10 hip circles

30s rocking squat

 

AMRAP - 10 Flat Straight Leg Raises

AMRAP - 5 Straight Leg Inverted Rows

AMSAP - 25s Left & 30s Right Kneeling Side Plank

 

Cool Down:

5 min Stretching

 

Health : 

Meal Plan : 1/4      

Eat at Home : 1/15

Finished meal planning during the Sounders game and made chili for dinner. 

 

Life : 

To Do List : 2/4

Finished my last knitted rectangle and need to lay them all out to see how many more I need to make.

oooh I haven't tried any of the special offerings at PF. what is the hydro massage? I have always been kind of nervous about that.
