So I came to the realization that trying to count calories and stay within my limits for 7 days a week is hard especially when first starting out.  So i am going to allow myself 2 free days where I can go over without being penalized each week.  These are use or lose days and my goal is to not use them.  This week I think I will because its my daughters birthday.

I had that realization too, one of the reasons I only tried for 6/7 days for the last challenge and started with one health potion in case I slipped up. I don't know about you but for me it's often a mental game of "well you already missed this up...this day is ruined" and then I'll proceed to eat like 6 cookies >_< and then that will snow ball into a bad week, or longer until I catch myself. But I found that just having the "health potion" was a nice safety net that kept my mind saying "ok well you messed up but your still have 350/400hp and a health potion so we can still cary on". I hope that mades sense.

yeah that made a lot of sense.  I figured doing 5/7 with the calorie goals will be good to start and then i can change it to 6/7 and eventually 7/7.

Today was a busy day.  It is my oldests 5th birthday and I had to get up at 4 am to start calling Disney to get their free dining plan for my Trip this fall.  Final got it all figured out around noon then we went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science at the request of my 5 year old.  We saw the butterflies, checked out their "Cabinet  of Curiosities" and the new Faberge exhibit.  Got pizza on the way home and then I did my workout.  here it is 9pm and I am in cool down mode, luckily or unluckily  I have Night watch my6 next set so i need to stay up most of the night tonight to get ready so all this energy coursing through me should keep me going if not a cup of black tea will for sure.  Hope everyone's monday went well.

Happy belated birthday to your eldest. Really cool that you got to see the Faberge eggs - they're so neat to look at, and I'd love to be able to play with one (although I completely understand why not). Looks like you were within calories yesterday - why are you still 1/5? And I agree that going straight to 7 days of tracking is rough. I strenuously dislike it, but need to adjust now and then. Keep up the good work!

I was in them i just hadn't gotten around to updating it.  I'm working nights this set so I just got up at 4pm and had to get ready for work.  Just updated it for yesterday and need to post yesterdays Calories picture when i get home.  I have access to the base gym tonight so I plan on getting a run in and getting a good workout in as long as nothing crazy happens at work between now and 10pm.

So my schedule is nights for the today 26th and the 27th and getting up at 5PM makes getting my calories for a workout in before midnight, So i am going to add half of my extra calories from the 26th which should be 200ish to today(27th)  That will allow me to fuel my body post workout and not be starving when i get home from work at 6am.

So I am finally off of nights for at least 2 months so this challenge should be much easier. My Calories were off yesterday but again that is due to the Night watches.  I was under so I'll count that a win, even after eating 6 of the chocolate chip Cookies my wife made for Game night.  My friends devoured the rest of them.

So yesterday i did some adulting, mowed most of my backyard trimmed the front hedges and got some groceries.  I didn't even get close to eating the amount of calories i should have...  I had 3 slices of pizza 1 for lunch and 2 for dinner.  A protein shake and a cliff bar.   Felt full so didn't eat more.
