I just want an excuse to dump random GIFs of my favorite drag queen, Katya. 

 

But anyway, I'm Raptron. I do gymnastics, lift heavy shit, and sometimes sign myself up for weird endurance events even though I don't like training for them even a little bit. DOING them is always fun, but it's proooobably less fun if you aren't physically prepared, right? 

 

1. Be the person that you don’t think that you have the time to try to figure out how to be even though you can’t, but you want to.

*Run 2x per week

*One must be 5+ miles! 

 

2. Why try new things when I can try... nothing?
*Conditioning circuit 1x per week (CLIMBING WILL COUNT IF I EVER CLIMB AGAIN) 
 
3. I don’t know anything about science other than it’s really good for you
*Eat for ligament and tendon health with the following...
*Cruciferous veg 5x week
*Walnuts or pumpkin seeds 3x per week
*Fatty fish (sardines or salmon) 2x per week
 
4. Home is where the dumpster is 
*Run the dishwasher every Wednesday 
*Deep clean all cabinets/drawers in the kitchen because DOWN WITH PANTRY MOTHS!

But yeah, the next 4 weeks are going to be focused on getting ready (and #stayingready) for the Bone Frog Tier-1 race I'm doing on May 20 in western MA. Of all the obstacle course races I've done, this one is by far my favorite, but I only did the 9 mile distance last year and this year I am doing the 11 mile one. Which isn't ALL that much more distance, but last year it did involve going up the steepest face of the ski mountain twice rather than once... soooo it's a lot of the hard stuff packed into one tight little area.

Oooh! Nice! Show season for the new queens is just kicking up around here. I think someone is around for Hot Mess Sunday this week... Kimora maybe? Actually, I think it's Farrah Moan. Whoever it is, probs going.

So funny story. I was house sitting for my sister a while ago and looking for a something to watch on netflix. I noticed RPDR was previously watched. Knowing my sister and her husband are NOT drag queen watching people, I asked her about it. She couldn't stop laughing when I did. Apparently her husband watched a few episodes because he kept waiting for actual drag racing.

Yesss! I have never seen any of the ensemble shows actually, just the like 1 AM gay bar performances. :angel: I have to keep an eye out for the next tour!

Well, I guess here's some week 0 shit! I am not going to test out the challenge rules yet, probably, mostly because I'm still sick and haven't done cardio since last Thursday (oh nooo). But last night's workout was a-ok.

Bwahaha that's awesome. I reckon it's an excuse though, I mean come on, surely it wouldn't take him a few episodes to figure that one out. :P

Any other person, I would think the same thing. He's a moron so yeah I can actually see it taking him that long. I mean it's pretty obvious from the start they are not going to start racing, like cars and stuff. Lol

Good shit, good shit. I forgot the true torture that is 7 seconds in the hole pause squats. 

 

I've got my climbing shoes AND regular shoes for tonight. I think climbing and playing with balances between will be exactly what the body ordered tonight.

And uhhh yeah I too am on the must run 2k (or maybe 3 x..ugh.) per week train because DUDE I have a like 10 mile race in the first week of June and I didn't run most of April..or March.... WOOOOPPSSSSSSS

Haha, that'd be great! Honestly, no one I know has signed up for it, so it may just beeee little old me. I'll just have to make friends on the course -- course friends! -- because I do best when I have someone to talk to/cheer on and can't spend all my time getting in my own head.

Day 0.5

I climbed! I got up two v2s, one of which had me stumped for a long time before I could manage it. When my grip would go out, I'd take breaks for stretching and some stalder drills. I couldn't do any actual presses because of the sinus pressure when I was upside down, but I did some straddle support holds while on a box and those awful rolls where you try to keep your feet up into a straddle hold. They're hard. The end.

 

Day 0.6

Gymnastics! I did lots of tumbling to prepare for front handspring front pike + front tucks again. Plus some back tumbling. And then playing with front walkovers, fhs, and bhs on low beam. It was a good workout. We went to the Science March after (underwhelminggg) and then I spent the rest of the day kind of chilling and reading rather than doing anything too involved.

 

Day 0.7

Prepped some food for the week, watched the Bruins lose (sigh), and didn't do a whole lot else. It was a very nice Sunday!
