Welcome to Ye Olde Ranger Guilde Hall, where the letter e is in abundance and the beverages flow. Walk up to the bar, sit at a table, and order your favorite beverage. The Bartender has everything in stock, all drawn from his subterranean storage cavern.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find pictures like this that don't have...demeaning depictions of people?

So excited to start tomorrow! Hopefully some people like criticizing my intel reports. That was my dream job and never offered a position.

Oh I like E being in abundance for encouragement, excitement, endearment, enlightenment, exuberance... As long is it isn't for eish! or eeewwww!

Jon hurries into the guild hall with trails of smoke drifting behind him. Pushing up to the bar he orders glass of water. The Bartender graciously returns with a large pitcher of the wet stuff that Jon proceeds to dump on his smouldering cloak to extinguish the embers. "Thanks," he said. "It's been a rough four weeks." He grins and glances around at the few faces already gathering inside.

 

Grabbing the bottle from the Chaplin's table he turns back to the barkeep and dumps a handful of coins onto the bar. "Next round's on me!"

Gurdris staggers into the Guilde Halle and starts to imbibe. "I knew this was the right place for me!"

Morag walks in and closes the door quietly. Her gaze roams the room, nods are exchanged. Avoiding a puddle she steps to the bar, orders a drink and hands the barkeep a big napsack of good things for the larder. The barkeep shakes his head and they haggle, and, in short order, come to an agreement of some sort. With her customary pint of spiced tea and milk she walks to one of the comfortablly soft chairs near the eastern wall.

 

"I am tired, my friends, and weary, so join me and drink and be merry and enjoy this time between. This rest. This repite. The good barkeep will roast what I brought and we shall have plenty."

 

Then she sits and is quiet and there is food and drink aplenty and life is good. And life too is quiet. At least for a little while.

The door swings open and Rhovaniel steps through. A few smile to see that, unlike in the previous few months, she is wearing travelling gear, and a new sword hangs at her side. She makes her way to a corner, to think and to plan, nodding at a few familiar faces as she passes. It's good to be back, she muses, ordering a hot meal from the barkeep as well as some ale to wash it down with.

A masked ( but no cape) superhero wanders in, smiles at everyone, sits on the floor  because she hates sitting in chairs, and orders a cider .

A khajit slinks in through the door and plops her furry butt down on a barstool lethargically. She motions for a tankard of milk and laps tiredly at the foam. Dull eyes fall on a worn sofa in the corner, and she moves wearily over to curl up on it instead. Milk half-finished, she pulls her cloak and tail around her, and dozes to the comforting sounds of the Guilde Hall.

[FortBacon]

Heads turn as a herald enters proclaiming "Bacon for all" announcing the entrance of jolly FortBacon. With the permission of @Tanktimus the Encourager, he quickly distributes his gifts, offering crispy vs soft bacon (depending on the preferences of the good people), and occasionally apologizing to the vegan/vegetarian, meaning no offense.

 

FortBacon is glad he fully charged his devices as this appears to be an olde-time-fantasy-guilde-shoppe (can't be anything space-age with all the "e's") - not an outlet in sight. He finds a table by a window, sets up his solar-energy collector, and attaches all 100 of his devices for charging (apologizing to the other patrons for taking up so much space). He tips the herald and sends him on his way, after a good laugh at the absurd idea of him being heralded at all.

 

Knowing he is in good company and a trusted establishment, he leaves all his devices at his table (without asking anyone "do you mind watching this while I step away") and begins a search for tasty cheeses and beer.

Mizbrek swings his keg onto bar, tapping it and pouring a cloudy, copper beer.

 

He takes a sip. "Hmm. Notes of banana,, strawberry, malt and a hint of cloves." He turns to the bartender. "Free for all!"

Question: If one grabs an ale that is a cider that is dry hopped... is it a beer or a cider?...

Charlie pushes the door to the great hall a little too hard and the force slams the door into the wall, causing heads to turn. She raises her hand as an apology and begins to head towards for the bar. The barman's scalding look stops Charlie in her tracks. The barman's gaze moves from her water-logged trousers, to the muddy boots on Charlie's feet, to the trail of brown sludge that's now all over the guild hall floor. "Oops, sorry" she says, "I've been on a bit of an adventure. Perhaps I'll tell you all about it over a beer?" She makes a move towards the bar once more, but the bar-keep's expression remains fixed. "Um, but I'll clean that up first, of course".

Gurdris takes one look at the mess that Charlie_Quinn dragged in and decides it is neither her problem nor a big deal. She reaches into her pocket for some elegance and grace, and applies it to a bottle of merlot.

AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

 

I have taken the plunge and switched my allegiance to the Assassins.  Before I get an axe in the back for being a traitor, let me say leaving my brethren Rangers was a difficult choice, but one that made sense as a Ranger.  Being a Ranger is about diversity in training.  I MUST DO ALL THE THINGS!  I have been joining the Assassin mini challenges to expand my training, but I was just visiting, never fully committed.  Commitment is the key to successful training, so I'm throwing in with them to fully commit myself to learning new skills in bodyweight exercises to master them.  I am off to indulge my Ranger brain with the Assassins for a while.  At some point, I will likely move on to another guild for more diversity.

*Shrug* This is just further evidence of your Rangerhood, IMO. We do all the things - that's our calling card. You wouldn't be much of a Ranger if you didn't spend some time outside the circle. More power to you! Those Assassins are in for a treat.

Elennare rolls into the guild hall and orders a glass of water with ice.  It's REALLY hot in Arizona!  And dry, and lacking in trees.  It was nice to visit, and so much fun watching ALL the derby, but I'm glad to be back in my forest!  She takes her water, zooms over to a table and plops down, kicking her feet up.  And then realizes roller skates should not be on the table and leans forward to rest instead.

 

Am I reading correctly that this challenge starts on May 27th?  My calendar says that's a Saturday.  In fact, it looks like this one runs Saturday through Friday?
