What would a bunch of Disney themed challenges be without Mulan? It was about time I finally had this theme especially because it’s time to get down to business. No simple challenge like last time.

I’ve hit a wall in regards to my weight.  I’m losing one or two pounds but then I gain 5 back and repeat over and over. While I still continue to workout, I’ve failed to evaluate my eating because I like food and am scared I’ll have to make changes. I know I’ll have to make changes. Sigh. My plan this challenge is to determine my TDEE and record my calories and macros. I’m not going to plan out my calories just yet because I want to see what I’ve been doing. If anyone knows how to determine their TDEE, hook me up with some links. :)

Mulan!!!! Love the song!

 

I used this for at least the BMR portion of TDEE, I like it because it takes BF % into account: https://www.muscleforlife.com/tdee-calculator/ - I think from there it's just figuring out the right activity multiplier for your lifestyle (BMR x activity mult. = TDEE) and knowing that even a calculated BMR is just an estimate.

Definitely makes sense to crowdsource! FYI, I think the guy who wrote the calculator I linked is a bit conservative on his activity multipliers - if you're really active you'll probably have a multiplier higher than 1.45 (ex. I dance between 12-20 hours a week and lift for ~5 hours too - I'd guess my multiplier is ~1.6 - 1.7 based on where I see weight gain vs. loss).

Thank you for the heads up. I always have a tough time trying to figure out activity because I am far from consistent with my levels of activity.

This is the problem I always have too. Plus most of my activity is outside of working out: tons of walking, hauling stuff around at work, etc.

Last minute decision to go to the gym yesterday, even though it was hot as Satan's armpit. It's starting to get warm and I don't like it! I even finished my workout early enough that I could go watch the end of my nephew's baseball game!

 

Also discovered that I have a leak in my shower and I temporarily fixed it with a maxi pad. Just call me macgyver. I could have probably used tape but I don't have any duct tape so I had to use what I had available. Now I'm worried what's under the caulking since I've noticed the leak for a while but didn't know where it was coming from. I just thought I was super splashy and that's how puddles got outside the shower. Adding another task to my list.

I wish that song would load here at work.  I could use the music stuck in my head, static is driving me mad.

I honestly can't remember what I did Tuesday except I deep cleaned the upstairs toilet! Uugh gross. Oh and watched Riverdale. 

 

Wednesday I got to meet one of my favorite Sounders (football/soccer) players. A few days ago I was just planning on going to craft night and then I found out that Brad Evans was going to be at the QFC that I go to before craft night to get dinner. Ummm hello fate! Got to take a picture with him, have him sign my calendar and got to put on his MLS Championship ring. After that I walked back to my car on shaky legs to go to craft night. I was shaky for the rest of the night lol. I did get 2 bujo pages done though.
