This is a PvP for those of us using a Bullet Journal or some other form of challenge log. I want to keep this intro simple. RedStone, MaylaKae, and I thought it would be fun to get us going using our bujo's more frequently.

1. one point for each picture of your BuJo/Log that you post

2. if you get get least 8 points during the challenge (or around 2x per week) you get a reward that you select yourself, when you post your first pic indicate your reward

I'm doing this as a PvP so all of our bujo inspiration will stay in one place. If it was in accountability buddies we would have to recreate this every challenge.

Folks who may be interested, please tag others who bujo. @RedStone, @MaylaKae, @elvenengineer

AW YEAH! This is great because my bujo is in weird transition. I have a bujo page for my challenge but am keeping month schedule stuff for work in a binder as an experiment. I did make some scheduling pages for that I will post eventually... they're not as fun :P Reward will be.... a cool patch/sticker/something for my bujo cover :D

Is this a good place to ask for ideas? I feel like this is a really good place for that... I need some new ideas for actual creative activities I can do in my bujo... rather than trackers and stuff. How do people do things like journaling, or maybe drawing and stuff if it isn't attached to a tracker or calendar? Or some way to make a hybrid? Right now I have my schedule elsewhere for logistical/work purposes. I'd love some inspiration!!!

I've seen the creative/journal type of pages just thrown into a journal, pretty much anywhere.

I've seen the following pages that might give you some ideas:

doodle a day

what makes me happy

gratitude logs

What I like about myself

Quotes

Monthly memories

Writing Prompts

Mandalas

I just posted something new from my bullet journal earlier today.

I guess my reward will be... Fancy ice cream. If I have the extra money, it could even be a thing of vegan ice cream I've been eyeing at a cafe.

Yeah. I just put it on the next available page. Sometimes I'll have an idea for a quote/etc, or I'll want a quote/etc at the beginning of the journal/month/holiday, so I'll set aside a page for it.

My reward is going to be a pair of fun deadlifting socks, yay!

My challenge bujo is currently very spartan with no drawings and not much in the way of fun. I wasn't sure I would stick with it so when I started it I grabbed a small lined notebook I already had to use. For next week I might try to get a little more creative. My gardening bujo is a balance of art and tracking. If you want to follow that I post some in my instagram, you can message me for my IG or let me know what yours is.

  • I feel a little limited by the lines and need to learn to ignore them. Eventually I will fork over money for a real dot bujo like my garden one, but not until I stick with it for longer.
  • I also have a page where I'm tracking a list of high fiber foods.
  • Ignore my gardening dirty thumbnail. ;)
  • Just realized that since I added days at the top of the grid the two days of cardio no longer makes sense, haha. I'll change that for next challenge.

1/8. Also made a tiny tracker in my bujo to track my bujo challenge. ;)

Creativity is my weak point. I have the basics: index, future log, month-at-a-glance, monthly to-do, and daily logs. But it's all very spartan, with just the notation used in Ryder's basic guide.

There is no wrong way to bullet journal! If that is what works for you, that is perfect!

I'd love to see some simple ideas too, because I go the more simple route.

I've come to love simple layouts!

Mostly because if I stress too hard about making an elaborate page, I intimidate myself and then never do it. I have an extreme need for perfection with artwork so my bujo has helped me chill out a little. :)

Hi guys!

I'm not using the bullet journal, nor doing a bujo as it is, but I keep a music practice journal, and I've been wanting to have a less dry way to log things in it. I'm thinking it would help me to keep accountable with this idea if I take part on your PvP challenge, and I hope you are ok with it, even if it is not a challenge log (however, sometimes music practice appears in my challenges).

In case everyone is ok with it (I guess so, because people at NF are so nice :) ), these are my first 2 pictures:

pàgina1.jpg  pàgina2.jpg

Until now my journal was just a list of tasks done with some comments and more or less color, but I have recently started to make some drawings which illustrate the music I am working on and I like the visual result. It is just that I am lazy when it's about drawing...

As a reward, I'd like to upgrade my notebook. I'd like something fancy, like an oh studio deconstructed journal, but they only offer lined paper and I dislike it.

Do you people know of some similar type of journal/notebook, offering blank paper version, and that actually stays flat when opened? I'm using spiral bound notebooks so far, but I'd like something better, the problem being I hate most sewn notebooks because there is no way they stay flat on the table.

Studio Oh has deconstructed sketchbooks. Not sure if you want the 90lb paper but it's not lined!

Thank you!

I've seen their sketchbooks, but the paper is too thick I guess. Anyway, I may try once I'm more skilled at this mixture of logging and drawing.

I'll check the papyrus website, thank you!
