I know I’m hella late to this but I’m having a hard time, like, LIVING LIFE without some kind of structured goals to work on. Currently really hating the way my body feels. Going to reinstate some of the goals I had in the last few challenges in order to get myself back on track, and I’m going to continue with these goals until June 30:

 

1.       Limit my food intake to 10:30am to 8:30pm

2.       Limit the amount of carbs I eat (25% of plate if possible)

3.       No chips for snacking (healthy snacks instead)

4.       Physical activity 5 days a week (walking the mall counts too)

 

Could use some encouragement. I feel like such a lazy goober these days. Couldn’t even hold myself to goal #1 today because they’re making something delicious at work and I couldn’t stop myself from sampling the free product in our test kitchen.

June 14th results

 

1. FAIL - ate something almost without thinking at 9:30am. Held out during the evening at least, only drank juice/water after 8:30pm.

2. PASS - salad for lunch, dinner was mostly vegetables and I held back on the rice.

3. PASS - snacked on yogurt and fruit.

4. PASS - went for a walk with SIL after work.

June 15th results

 

1. FAIL - ate something at 10am. I ate a single grape at 10pm too but I'm not counting that.

2. FAIL - salad for lunch, but dinner was pasta.

3. FAIL - snacked on yogurt and fruit, but also a bag of Indian roasted chickpea snacks... it sounds healthy but it's not, it's a fried fatty mess.

4. FAIL - sacrificed activity for getting some dope-ass crafting done instead.

Welcome back Plazmotic, glad to see you back no matter how late you have arrived ^_^  I shall try to be here with emergency hugs. I also understand the lazy goober thing, although I'm more of a procrastinating goober... but I know we can do this!

It’s my attempt to do intermittent fasting. https://authoritynutrition.com/intermittent-fasting-guide/ Been feeling like a ravenous calorie monster lately and need to curb my appetites to something less… extravagant. Also it may help me lose weight. But I'm not going all out because I don't want my fertility affected.

Basically this (beach-themed hurricane vase decor) using shells my husband gathered for me on vacation 4 years ago. It's not completely done yet but once it is, I'll share a photo!

June 16th results

 

1. FAIL - held out until 10:30am, but had dinner at 9ish at night because I wanted to wait up for my husband and eat together with him, but he's been working late.

2. FAIL - pasta for lunch, woe.

3. PASS - going for the pass on this because I didn't eat some crappy chips, just cucumber and a Fibre One bar.

4. PASS - went to the mall and got a bit of walking done!

June 17th results

 

1. PASS - actually controlled myself first thing in the morning, and in the evening the BBQ at my in-laws house was done quite before 8:30pm.

2. FAIL - pasta for lunch, again.

3. FAIL - see above: at my in-laws house. Ate a bunch of corn puffs with husband's nephew because he nicely asked if I would like him to share with me, and who am I to not encourage a child's altruism? :P

4. FAIL - meh, not really.

 

Score: 25%

 

June 18th results

 

1. PASS - late breakfast and early dinner made for good performance.

2. FAIL - breakfast was waffles with syrup, so nope on this one.

3. PASS - snacks were non-existent because lunch was so HUGE.

4. PASS - spent the evening doing a Harry Potter themed escape room, lots of activity required!

June 19th results

 

1. FAIL- ate a banana at 9pm because I wanted to eat with my husband while he had dinner.

2. PASS - chicken sandwich for lunch, salmon with hash browns and roasted veggies for dinner.

3. FAIL- omg fail af, they brought Timbits and donuts and muffins to work and I had one of each waaaaaaah.

4. PASS - took a nice long walk with SIL after work.

June 20th results

 

1. FAIL - Too many delicious test batches at work to sample, couldn’t resist. 

2. PASS - This is a borderline pass, both lunch and dinner had carbs but juuuust little enough for me to accept it wasn’t too much.

3. PASS - Snacking was healthy (yogurt, fruit, nuts).

4. FAIL - No activity for the day, not feeling so great due to lady issues.

1. FAIL - Nope, ate dinner with my husband at 9pm.

2. FAIL - Butter chicken for lunch, woops!

3. PASS - Snacking was healthy (yogurt, fruit, nuts).

4. FAIL - No activity for the day, not feeling so great due to lady issues.

1. FAIL - Another late dinner with my husband at 9pm.

2. PASS - Didn't stuff my face with carbs, yay!

3. PASS - Snacking was healthy (yogurt, fruit, nuts).

4. FAIL - No activity for the day, too much time spent on the phone with insurance brokers.

June 23rd results

 

1. FAIL - Another late dinner with my husband at 9pm.

2. FAIL - Lunch was lasagna, because I went to an Italian restaurant for lunch and the lady behind the register was a little old nonna who told me what to eat instead of letting me choose, LOL 

3. PASS - Snacking was healthy (yogurt, fruit, nuts).

4. PASS - Walked around the mall!

Yeahhhh I kind of fell off there at the end. Too many other things in life to deal with… property management and home insurance renewal and vacation planning, oh my. It wasn’t a good challenge, let’s just leave it at that. But! I think the next challenge will be better for me, going to time it as reboot of sorts.
