JK it’s me Jonesy! :D

Netflix finally added Moana to their streaming and I think I’ve watched this movie 3 times in the last week, It’s like I’m 5. Since the songs have been stuck in my head, I decided to use it for my challenge theme. I’m also going to incorporate my game into this challenge. The points for activities at least.

I like improving on my dead hangs so I want to keep that going. For other workouts, I need to do at least 2 a week. I failed pretty hard at having regular workouts last challenge.

I love the idea of a routine but I struggle following them. I want to change this. Part of me wants the structure but the other part wants to do what I feel like I want to do...not necessarily what I NEED to do. Again, I want to change this. So for both zero weeks I’m going to work on creating some routines and then seeing how well I follow them for the challenge.

With the increased Regional transit authority (RTA) tax for my car this year ($250 more than last year) I really need to save up for my Sept/October bill. I also realized that I spent WAAAAY too much money on take out. Like embarrassingly too much. Zero week I’ll spend some time, not money, creating a monthly budget and possible the weekly ones.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure I'll end up watching the movie a few more times before my challenge is up. I have next week off from work so I know I'll watch it then. Haha. Also if you have not seen it you should make it top of your to be watched movie list!

Workout Routine : THE STRUGGLE

 

I struggle a lot with creating workout routines. I can make them but I worry about all the stuff that can pop up and ruin my well thought out plan. Then I get mad and depressed because I failed. In the past I've tried hard plans, no deviations and they failed. I've tried just going with the flow and too often I flow right to the couch. This next week I'm going to try to plan for the week but be flexible. I'm hoping it also helps me stay productive since I'm off all next week but it also means I have more time to workout.

 

What I want to accomplish each week : 

 

Dead Hangs (+5s Everyday)

Cardio - 2X a week (HIIT, Walking, Treadmill, Elliptical)

Strength - 2x a week (Start Bodyweight exercises)

Yoga - 1x a week (Nerd Fitness Yoga Session)

July 1 - 3 : 

 

My knees hurt from my yoga session on Sunday.I don't know how people can do it multiple days in a row. Today though I woke up at 5am in the morning and have been SOOOOOOOO productive already. I got in a cardio session, a strength session and vacuumed both upstairs and downstairs. Did some cleaning and made my breakfast and lunch. Super excited to go to the melting pot later this afternoon with my friend. We went to half price books and sold some stuff so I have about $4 extra dollars to spend this week. Also just found out I am taking my nephew to a soccer game this Saturday in Seattle and have a baby shower on Sunday.

So I thought I had another week of zero week...again. Taking a week off work always messes with me and doesn't help with my routine building. 

 

Not a lot of working out but I don't feel bad about it. I carried and pushed a 3 foot box filled with books upstairs, lugged a freaking heavy bookcase up the stairs by myself and have taken small boxes of hardback books up the stairs for the last 3 days. I have been keeping track of my habits and have been on top of cleaning!
