Hello, fellow nerds.

 

This is the first forum I have been on in almost ten years, so please bear with me. It's been a while.

 

I'm here to get my booty and the rest of me in shape and get healthier because I have been diagnosed with health stuff (nothing new) that requires me to actually get physically fit if I'm going to stay off drugs (always the goal) as well as improve some already there chronic pain problems.

 

After lurking quietly for a few hours, I think I'm going to be best suited to the Druids because, well, when you know what kind of tribe you'll fit into, why be shy.

 

One of the things that I am looking forward to most is the challenges. 4 weeks is super manageable and enough time to really start to dig into goals. In addition to embarking on my first challenge as a Druid, I'm hoping that this community helps me find an accountabilibuddy and some new friends that have the same interests (like getting healthier and eating well and living like a BA.) I bring some pretty cool veggie based cooking and lifestyle know how to the table as well as an on again off again practice of yoga for 12 years.

 

So yeah. That's about it for now. I'm off to make some goals, plan my challenge, and maybe write a backstory for my Druid "character."

 

Once a forum based RPG lover, always a forum based RPG lover. :flustered: It was Harry Potter in case anyone was wondering. And no, there is no shame in my (RPG) game.

Welcome Nikki!! We're so glad you're here!  :D  Your goals are great and we are totally here to support you, even those of us who aren't in your corps - you're going to meet so many awesome people here, and you're also an awesome people that we're excited to meet!! Veggie-based cooking, RPG love and yoga are always needed in the Rebellion, so your skills are a definite plus!
