Time for a new challenge! I'll mostly continue with the same goals. And I'm not going to change the names. So when I get back for a long retrospective at the end of the year, I'll know, that I sticked to the same shit. Goal One: Overcome the Virus and scavage enough for food In yakuza zero you have to get ramen and other food to sustain yourself. And you get money by fighting against goons in the streets. It feels so much like the old GTA games combined with streets of rage or Tekken. Goals drink 3l a day and more when I get exercise (track in plant nanny) 3 portions of freggies (paper tracker) reduce unhealthy snacks and take away (not more then once a week, paper tracker) ==> aim for six good eating days a week Count my calories in MFP and stay under 1650 kcal (I won't count calories back in with exercise) Bonus 1: prepare a bento for Wednesday Goal Two: Don't let them outrun you every day: walking or another cardio establish morning routine: 20 minutes sun salutations, 5 Tibetans and 10 minute meditation. I try to get it in at least three times a week Tuesday: Tai Chi (only the first half of the challenge) Thursday: Yoga (only the first half of the challenge) Bonus: go swimming once a week I'm focusing on my at home workouts again. It's important I get in some kind of routine before the summer break starts again. I won't have any classes then. Goal Three: Get your stuff done and don't give in the lethargy Study 15 hours a week again. Bonus for getting all my homework done by Saturday evening. Goal Four: To Do List Adulting like a pro! Fire spinning wasn't really catching me this time. I guess it's hard to get back into it, when you have nobody to practice with and also I can't really learn any new tricks on my own. There are not that many good tutorials that built on my level. So for next challenge I'm going to try something else. Don't want to skip training sessions because of feeling woozy or something from under eating. But with my current amount of exercise it should be all right. That song is great. I've been listening to it since I was a teenager. I can listen to it, when I'm sad, when I want to accomplish something, or when I just want to get myself thinking. Somehow music is really good in getting you in the right mood. My life goals: 1) I want to finish my studys and graduate. That's really important to me. Even when I think this isn't the right job. I want to at least bring this to a satisfying end. Wouldn't be able to be content with myself, if I threw this all away. It's getting harder. Mind me rambling. But I don't really like being the old student. The sensei. Everybody asks me. As if I knew how things are going just because I have been around for a while. Or they think I'm arrogant, just because I take stuff seriously. I can't take it anymore. But it's getting better. I'm only talking about the necessary stuff, ignore dumb people and concentrate on my friends. I know that it's worth fighting for. That's why I broke my procrastination habit. I'm working on my stuff regularly. Indeed I've been working so much, my friends got a little worried. That's why I took a few days off. It was no coincidence that I got sick again recently. But now I feel better and I'll get back into my routine next week. Let's get stuff done! 2) I want to work on my relationships. My relationship with my bf and friends is already better. I learned to say something, when I'm in a bad mood or when people do something that I don't like. Before I would wait until I exploded. That's not healthy. So jeah, things got better and I'm much more relaxed. I don't feel like screaming any more. I just have to learn how to deal with my family. My dad won't change anymore. It's not worth it to pick a fight all the time. At least he's trying to understand me from time to time. It's easy to overlook these good moments when I'm angry all the time. I have to remember not to call him when I'm in a cranky mood. That's a recipe for disaster. I'm getting tired from these fights. He doesn't see that I'm already living my own life. That's why I only visit my family once a year at the moment. Gosh. I really need to work on that. Especially because the rest of my family gets dragged into this mess. 3) I want to feel good about my body. I think I got this one. So I gained a few kilo back last challenge. But my body doesn't look that much different. I kept training and my changes pay off. I'm feeling better about myself and I can do what I want to do. I can wear the things I want to wear - like ridiculously short pants. Okey only sometimes. But I'm getting there. And I am really glad about my performance recently. I feel less drained. I have more energy. Or do you have something else in mind? Na... Just reflecting where I'm stang and figuring out what steps I can take towards them. I just wanted to make sure I'm keeping the bigger picture in mind. These goals are something that's going to be important for at least the next year. So what habits could I break? - I don't want to build up stress and anger until I break. - I don't want to forget to call my family from time to time. - I don't want to freak out about weight changes and instead stick to my goals and measure progress in more than one way. Maybe I should start tracking performance progress again. Mh let's see if I can keep that in mind. I met a webcomic artist I enjoy reading for years and we saw a panel with Kevin Sorbo. It was intresting. I just should have gotten more sleep. Instead I slept more than 16 hours and had a hard time to get functioning. Gosh. And I had a really horrible muscle ache in my shoulders. Uff.
