No, I am not some ghost/demon collecting your memories to somehow take over the world.

Here's what I am doing:

 

I'm creating an interactive blanket fort/"art exhibition" at the end of this month and I need your help!

 

I am collecting childhood memories from people of all backgrounds all over the world. Whatever "childhood memories" means to you is welcome. Here's the call I shared on my Facebook and emailed to some collaborators:

 

 

Hi internet! I'm collecting voice memos of childhood memories for Reanimate volume 2. If blanket forts and magazine collages are your jam, record a line or two on your phone and email it to kayla@kaylamaeanderson.com. No names will be associated with your submission and fragments may be edited to create an ambient sound collage of memories.

 

I'll go first: I used to hide in my neighbor's lilac bush to binge read Animorphs over summer vacation.
