Clean, 2 Front-squats, and Jerk at 164 and 184 pounds

Clean, 4 Front-Squats, and Jerk at 204, 214, and 224 pounds

The moral of the story is that I should never be too tired to jerk, but that was not the case with the 224 pounds.

Allright!  I'm back from vacation again and hiding out in the BL again and I found this one I was using before I burned out on the last Challenge cycle.  New cycle.  New Program.  In other news, I am also working with Little John once per week and he wrote this program.  I am trying my best to remember the first two days of it.

 

Saturday's work with Little John:

2 Snatch Balance + Overhead Squat at 54, 74, and 90 pounds

Snatches: 3x89, 3x104, 2x124, 2x134, 1x144+F, 1x144 pounds

Block Cleans: 3x119, 3x144, 3x164, 3x179, 2x189, 1x204 pounds

Jump Squats: 5x10 with 10 pound dumbbells

 

Sunday I took off because I was still sick from some consequences of the trip I took and squats and squirts don't mix.

 

Monday I saw the chiropractor which makes for a late day, so I went with the simplest program day.

Snatch singles: 3x94, 2x114, 3x134 including one miss, 3x144 including two misses, 1x154 pounds including one miss and I decided since I was just struggling that I was going to call it there.

Clean and Jerk singles: 3x134, 2x164, 1x184, 1x194, 1x204, 1x214, and 3 misses at 224 pounds and I decided that I was simply too tired to jerk.

-6.0 Overall

 

Yes @Tanktimus the Encourager I am feeling sick.

 

Weigh-in this morning was 200 pounds even and normal for me following a trip is at least five pounds more.

Morning weigh-in: 200.2 pounds

 

I think I'm slowly recovering from rough consequences of traveling abroad.

 

Block Snaches: 3x3x94, 2x114, 2x124, 2x1x134, 2x1x139, 2x1x144, 2x1x149, 1x154 pounds

There were intended doubles, but misses at 134 up to 144 pounds and then I decided to just go with singles.

Clean and Jerk: 3x134, 3x154, 3x174, 3x184, 2x194, 2x1x204, 1x214 pounds

There was an intended double at 204 pounds, but once again, I was too tired to jerk it.

Block clean pulls: 2x3x254 pounds

Bent-over Rows: 5x134, 5x154, 5x174, 5x184, 5x174, 5x164 pounds

5x5 broad jumps with 10 pound dumbbells.  The distance was about 12 paces and a bit.

6x3 split squat jumps

Simple day.

 

Snatch Pull plus Snatch: 3x2x94, 2x114, 2x134, 1x144, 1x154, 1x164 pounds including one miss at 164 pounds because I was lacking in faith

Clean and Jerk: 2x94, 2x114, 2x134, 2x154, 2x174, 2x184, 1x194, 1x204, 1x214, 1x224 pounds including one miss at 224 pounds because somebody was messing with my gameand one miss at 229 pounds because I was too tired to jerk.
