    Thanks for all the nice replies Hehe, I'll be sure to check out your challenge as well! The drinking has been a piece of cake these last few days. Summer's been starting to take control over the weather around here, it's been so warm I didn't even have to remind myself to drink - thirst did its part. And my daily movement quest is going really great aswell (11 day streak on completing 8000 steps a day!). The only minor setback was a dinner with friends yesterday that I almost forgot about. They booked a table for 8 pm and we stayed waaaaay too long, so my fasting period ended a bit too early after about 14 hours today. But hey - 14 is almost 16! And during the 5 days beforehand I fasted for at least 16 hours each day. The beginning was a bit tough because I always sat at the table with a black coffee at hand while everybody else was eating, but seeing that I still was strong-minded enough to ignore the food was kind of a confidence boost.

    Sometimes the "duh" smacks you upside the head. So, if I'm going to work on maintenance eating I may need a reliable scale. Not sure if my old analog is accurate or not anymore. Time to do some shopping.

    I don't understand exactly what happened. I woke up fine, but maybe I did some bad reajustment during my wall plank because that's when I first noticed it. And it grew worse through the day, until I barely couldn't move my neck without pain. However, it feels almost ok today, I guess all the stretching helps to recover faster. 24.4.19 ACTIONS TIME SPENT SENSATIONS AND FEELINGS YOGA 6' Spent most of the time with critics about "I should be doing more". MUSIC PRACTICE 40' Not bad, my neck is way better. A bit critical in my mind, but it was nice to practice after these days. HANGING. PUSHING. WORKING OUT 30" dead hang 1 push-up Still not the same control when pushing up than when going down. ICELANDIC 20' A bit more difficult today, but fun. I'm really enjoying learning this language. WRITING 20' Meh. But I did it. GYM STRETCHING 3' + 7' + 10' neck, shoulders, squat, squat with twist, shin from shinbox, feet Good. Nice. Relaxing. OUTDOORS READING 30' + 10' + 10' + 10' Fun! SKETCHING WH BREATHING 14' + 12º cold shower Better focus today, also more relaxed. Cold shower was difficult but my body didn't feel like defcon 1. Wasn't very warm afterwards, but happy. BREATHING. MEDITATION 15' Breathing meditation while preparing breakfast. Total time: 3h16m. Feeling great for having made such a good use of my morning.

    Exercise notes: I did some exercises! All my workout logs are now handwritten in a journal, so rather than go through the tedious formatting of retyping them I’ll just post photos. 4/18/19: 4/19/19: Forgot to take a photo. Oops! Will upload later. 4/22/19: As you can see, my workouts have been somewhat truncated. Last Friday I had a day off, so I went on a 5-mile hike in Deception Pass State Park and did a mini-workout after. By Friday night, though, a sore throat and congestion had set in, and by Saturday it was clear: I caught myself a cold for the spring. I’d been previously cutting pretty hard, but since I got sick I’ve raised my calories to my TDEE (2450/day). My workouts are just a set or two of each movement right now, just enough to keep me from backsliding without pushing myself too hard — I’m particularly prone to pulling and straining muscles when I’m sick. Strangely, despite doing my best to eat my TDEE the last few days, this morning I seem to have lost a quarter inch off my waist — I’m down to 31.25in and 18.08% bodyfat. Is this just an illusion, some weird fluke caused by the illness? Only time will tell.

    Thanks! I’m looking forward to it too. I have to admit, I’ve got some anxiety about the idea of not managing everything I’ve laid out for myself. Hopefully once I get back into the swing of measuring my progress, it will feel easier. Hopefully any of my cooking notes will be entertaining, if nothing else! Thanks! And boo to being an adult. Being 30 is great, except for everyone expecting you to act your age.

    Worked out in the morning. So far, it feels good to do that early before breakfast. But I probably have to make it a bit shorter to use less time. Unfortunately, I had chest pains throughout the day... I guess because of too many push-ups. I do them throughout the day à la greasing the groove. Nothing crazy, but apparently enough to cause tensions and pain. I guess, I have to stretch more... Moreover, in the afternoon I had a fit of depression and ate a whole bar of chocolate.     Winning all around! This consistent writing habit is newly consistent, no? Sounds like you're getting even MORE clarity on what you want your next step to look like! Can't wait for you to swim over that rainbow! I love most of it - still learning to embrace my chaotic side of my personality and see it as an asset for rolling with the punches. But I think it is the part of me that makes me fun and spontaneous in a class and social setting, so I'm slowly getting towards embracing it with fully open arms rather than trying to hold it at a distance and pretend it's not there. I haven't had a proper BuJo in forever, but I do keep that little Muji notebook I bought while we were there with me for quick journal entries / on paper thought processing - it does help me calm down the "everything is awfuls" by putting down what, precisely is awful and being able to find hope within that. I did write a quick list of the five things I really would benefit most from tweaking today and the plan of attack to make those 5 things happen (basically, restating rolling challenge goals haha). I should start using it as a brief sort of day planner thing - I still have grand dreams of a kanban board at home so that I can track all my personal tasks in one spot cause it's been really helpful for me at work, but it'll be post move before I get around to that at home. <3 <3 <3 I'll gender bend and join this old lady group - although probably just to glue rhinestonnes onto stuff (which I haven't actually had to do in forever now that I have a same-sex partner and we're still figuring out costumes and stuff).

    Oh man, that's awesome they got you a standing desk! I've been eyeing the varidesk so I can sit or stand and easily switch between the two. I'm a one woman operation, so haven't wanted to spend the money, but I'm thinking I might make the leap soon.
