    Rinna gives up........something.

Springtime in the Rocky Mountains. I think I mentioned somewhere (maybe) that it stops snowing in June. If we’re lucky. We wound up with 10 inches on the ground, more on the decks. No school, which was nice, but jacked up the school finals schedule......roads got cleared in time to pick up @Shadri from the airport. She’s home for 4 days, and I’m working 3 of them. Today my mini boss & friend decided it would be a good idea to have a monster energy drink + a 5 hour energy shot. Result was snitty, bitchy emotional paranoia. Yelling, and threats (on my part) to leave & not return ensued. [After 2 bad managers & 1 psychobitch......I refuse to put up with bs. It’s not worth the emotional upheaval, or the crappy pay. ] Then tears (hers) and semi-sane discussion happened with apologies (on both sides. I may have yelled at her to stop busting my balls) and I think we’re good now. The huge intake of caffeine really jacked her up. She said she could see that she was being weird, but was unable to stop. Anywho, very strange day. On a good note, I’ve managed 3 days without soda or sweets. And there were cookies. I didn’t succumb. Woo hoo!

Leaving my hands and eyeballs free is part of why I often do audiobooks. For later Discworld books, I stay because the performance is a-frickin-mazing. (Also, one of the few male readers who does a great job with female characters, which is important for certain later Discworld books.) But without those, I understand your motivations in keeping the book at a distance. It betrayed you once.

Aaaaaand of the two positions, the one I want so much more also requires a transcript to be submitted. And of course my transcript still says I was on academic probation since my academic adviser gave no fucks about her job and gave me the wrong information. Whee.

    Diadhuit's key to stabiliy

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate the support! I am skeptic on it being beneficial to my overall health right now and me being able to stick with it. I am finding intuitive eating really good for establish a good relationship with my body and start listening to it. I discovered that my emotional eating comes as a self-care mechanism to cope with 'anger' (it being stress, boundaries stepped over, injustice,...). I also discovered that I don't feel hunger much, so I forget to eat and then need to feed quickly. I can diet, but need to remember these two points otherwise I won't be able to keep it. Yet I'm not at a point with IE that I am able to be fully healthy with pure IE and need to do some changes to be healthy now. Keto/removing grains doesn't do me for the same reason: I would be going keto, feel great for weeks, forget to eat or not feeling like eating and then crave for quick food and break it. I can do intermittent fasting, but only within the same day and keep a large enough window (once I ended up trying to eat lunch, no wonder I craved food after 20km and 2hours dancing!) I trust that if I follow the diet I will get the advantages stated, but I won't guilt myself if I can't keep it up because I have no kitchen or too much stress.
