Re-losing it after a rough few years

Really respect your fight to pick yourself back up after a knock down. And the way that you’re not a victim to your circumstances is promising. Having ups and downs myself, so it’s a great reminder to keep going too

    Dalish Clings to the Wagon

I do something similar to this. Before we go to the grocery store once a week, I decide what I will have for breakfast and for lunch for the week. Then it is much simpler to have it premade so I can grab and go. Which is probably the only reason I actually eat breakfast and maybe lunch. We will see. Good luck and I hope this idea goes well.

    Lateral Planet Runs Fast

That was kinda me last challenge. Except I would look a it from work and not even log in. So yeah, at that point, it is totally lurking. Cutting out the after dinner snacking is that hardest. I do okay for awhile then dinner is light or early and I mess up too much. Good luck with the snacking window. It might be a good idea since it gives you a set time to do that. Especially if there tends to be a certain time you notice you are dragging a bit.

Snarky Tests her “If I could”s

Yay! Glad to have you along! Thank you! I’m glad you’re here! Monday Yesterday was a good start! I took an hour to myself and read Space Boy which is an amazing webcomic and I’m so sad I’m caught up and have to wait for the weekly installments now, because ugh, waiting! I didn’t eat after dinner, and I slept 8 hours straight. No waking up, just wonderful sleep. It also helped that it was cool last night. I could shut the windows and sleep through the birds that like to make ALL THE NOISES at 5am. But not eating was the biggest contributor. No stomachaches for me! Today is my last story time at the library and I am so DONE. After, I’m driving up to Moraine State Park, and I’m telling you this because until I moved closer to it, I always thought people called it Moraine’s Day Park. A perfect park to spend the day in. is there a word you've learned is actually completely different from what you thought you were hearing?
  6. In the same boat as a recovering bulimic, and more recently, binge eating. I can really respect a drive to push through all the shit that comes with that, and work for the body you want. As someone that’s absolutely serious about my own fat loss, I’d be keen to see someone with a shared experierience kick ass, it’d be a big motivator to help keep me on track too

    Teros 54: Phoenix Begins

I love your determination and drive. I am also super glad you are seeking out balance as you reclaim your life; Having a creative outlet takes away some of the drudgery of the daily grind, eh? I’ll be interested to hear what you think about whole 30. I lost 15 pounds doing it, but ended up quitting at day 26 because I was miserable, I lacked energy, and had a bad reaction to coconut oil. But my cousin loved it and thrived! I hope you have a similar experience as she did. You totally got this.
  8. I saw you in that unicorn costume and now I can’t quit it!

The Adventurers of the Lucky Vale I

This is a cool challenge. I like the creativity. I too, hate losing strength after an injury. I sometimes imagine our bodies like pizza dough. You shape it, and then let it rest so you can push it farther, but if you tear it up too much you end up as a ball of dough and start over. Except I never imagine a point where we become delicious pizza, so maybe this idea is extra-silly i’m glad you are feeling better and ready to roll out!

[DarK_RaideR #36] Balance is rarely a static case

Iggy Pop and AIC are both awesome live, you'll have a great time! Also James are awesome. My cousin was in a relationship with the guy who played the keyboard at one point. I think. Or it might have been the guy from Suede. Anyway, HAVE FUN WITH THIS CHALLENGE!

    10K to mastery

3 weeks later and I've finally started (as stated initially, I'm a pretty lazy person). To ease into it, I went for a jog yesterday and ended up running 15 kilometers (about 9.32 miles) in 1:38:08, for an average pace of 6:32 per kilometer and average speed of 9.18 km/h. Not too bad, considering I haven't trained seriously on asphalt in several months; as a matter of fact, my best average pace at a half marathon was around 5:04, about a year ago, following a few weeks of training, so my fitness level hasn't declined dramatically. Obviously, there's quite some work to put in to recover and a heck of a lot more to improve, but I find yesterday's run encouraging. In other news, I'm beginning the calisthenics workouts today: push-ups, pull-ups and squats. Coming back later with today's numbers.
