  1. Belgian vacation continues, and it’s nice being a bit chilly and damp for a change, despite dearly needing insoles for the boots I’ve been clomping around Europe in. Beer has been had & learned about. Mussels, frites & waffles too.

Some things happened and some days passed … Yoga teaching: I’ve had 2 successful building classes with 2 students each - 1 a repeat student - so I’m happy there is at least some progress there. Yoga business: * E-journal for yogis is ready to go * All my social media posts for the rest of November are scheduled to post * 2 mala necklaces have been made * Announcing my e-shop on Small Business Saturday * Announcing my e-planner on Black Friday * Announcing private yoga sessions on November 30 or December 1 Personal: I’m in a small village outside of Amsterdam, recharging my social batteries at a good friends’ house. Brussels is next for a few days.
  3. When tf was November 2? Park classes are still a bust, but 2 people came to my 1st building class - and 1 even paid me. Building class 2 was a bust, but I was still buzzing from making $12 on Saturday that I didn’t mind too too much. Hotels & such have been booked for the Amsterdam / Brussels trip. Flights have been booked for our Feb jaunt back to the States for 12 days longer than necessary. Commence the zero planning, waiting u til last minute to tell people, and being as noncommittal as possible for as long as possible gambit to stave off insomnia that this stress level of trip brings. Can you tell how much I’m looking forward to it? At least there’s the promise of a shiny new tattoo from an artist I adore first to lure me in. ?? Ummmm ….. Ive been preoccupied with yoga business shit, trying to fix my journal layouts in time for a Black Friday launch, and that farm sim. Plus terraforming my village in Disney Dreamlight. And that’s about it.
  4. Proof #2 of the journals has arrived and it’s better but I still hate it and it’s too big. I think I’ll be switching to an ebook only version until I have the bandwidth to fix it. have gotten a ton of work on November’s content done - I’m like 80% done and have posts scheduled. Whoo. Also put my big girl underoos on - spiderweb themed in deference to the holiday - and booked the room for yoga classes for 2 days a week. I have to give freebies to the 1st 5 residents that show up, but that’s fine until I get my 10 classes in. Will reassess afterward. Sat alone in the park last night for my first free park class - but I got most of 2 blog posts written. not much else … downloaded and have been playing a new game - which wood? Wylde wood? Something about flowers? Dunno.

Things have been cruising along, and most of last week was taken up by social stuffs - some of which included chatting about actionable steps to take re: yoga teaching and getting asses on mats. Found a spot for outdoor community classes - announced the first class and it promptly rained buckets + flooded half the town. Like for real - it was insane. Parts of mall ceilings collapsed, a girlfriend was almost stranded in her car all night outside her compound gates, entire roads were under water, cars got washed around. This place is bonkers in a hard rain. Rescheduled that, and will be chilling in the park this Wednesday evening, hopefully not alone. Also need to put big girl undies on and talk to a woman I’ve been warned is difficult re: renting out an indoor space. Have been back to half-strength classes. Took 3 classes last week. Have mostly kept up with social media posting for the yoga biz; actually cooked something but haven’t been home to eat said thing yet. Got proof #1 back on the journals and haaaaaaate it. The formatting is wonky, the size sucks and it’s crazy thick. Back to the drawing board there. Vacation is as planned as I have the bandwidth to do so. A jacket that hopefully fits and will keep me from dying in Amsterdam/Brussels in November has been ordered. “Winter” clothing has half been rescued from under the bed storage and has been rummaged through. I still need an actual long sleeved shirt or 2 for layering - not necessarily 16 more cardigans. Waterproof shoes might also be the move. I love my barefoot boots but they are miserable when wet, and I’ve been all but guaranteed rain. Keeping my head above water, attempting to trust the process, and chipping away at my goals.

Coming up with an actual challenge with goals seems like … a lot … but I want to keep up with my friends who I missed dearly in my absence. So. General Path Shit: Get butts on the mat to attend my virtual yoga classes Get butts on the mat to attend in-person community classes Get on the schedule as a sub for slow flow classes at my studio Build out the anxious newbies workshop, releasing bits as freebies on Insta + a paid full version + offering an in-person version at the studio. Aim is for December/January to loop in the ‘new year/new me’ people. Continue on with the CE in this newest marketing land to actually help me hit my goals. Continue to come up with freebies to drive engagement and build out my portable tribe (via email - my community). Get the proofs for my 3(!) planners - decide what to do with those moving forward, but I’m already thinking Amazon KDP is not the (only) way … I know I’m not going to be happy with the quality. Maybe actually be ahead of the curve this year for holiday cards? ????? who am I kidding?! Continue to pump out content for my yoga shit … increase reels + mini tutorials; stockpile graphics. This is all necessitating making peace with my rolls real damn quick. I do NOT have the energy for heavy editing. There’s a vacation in there to see my European bestie. And I need to get back on my kitchen game - haven’t posted a recipe on the blog in almost a month ? Not that more than 609 people care, but I do need to also do shit with promoting that piece of social media, as well. I could, like, recoup the costs at least. I do have 2 cookbooks I could pump back out quickly. More things? I’m sure there are … geopolitical shit is kiiiiiiinda tumultuous in my neck of the world; keeping a slight eye on that and letting DH do the worrying for both of us. Other things? I need to get my ass back on the mat. I’m currently away from home and have done Jack shit in that vein for like 10 days. Oops. And the end of surface of the sun temps! Need to switch my wardrobe over and find the gaps - especially since we will be in frigid-to-me temps for 10 days next month and I’m too fluffy for my winter jacket. I think that’s it … ish … need to get back on the meditation track and actual personal practice. Baby steps there . im sure there is more I need to be aware of for this next Cycle, but this is what I’ve got so far.

  10. Sent 1 of the journals off for a proof copy; in hold till I get that back. Created a bunch of posts for Insta & published a blog post. Still no yoga but at this point it’s a *thing*
  11. Fri Went to Sea World Abu Dhabi and it was fabulous. It’s all indoors minus the one big coaster - fully temperature controlled and themed out. With a cool all over the park scavenger hunt/ game thing controlled by RFID cards. So cool and so different from other Sea Worlds I’ve been to. No sunburn! Sat Made the drive to Dubai and the big mall attached to the Burj Khalifa. Today Trekking to a different mall because what else to do but walk in air conned comfort & at least popping on to see if I have any students for class.
