Bruns87
Hello everyone, people call me Bruns. I've had NF for quite some time but never really fully invested myself into the community. As I turn 30 this weekend (yay!?) I've come to accept that I need to do more to be healthier and live for many more birthdays. I had lost about 15lbs prior to getting married back in 2015 but have pretty much gained that all back. Luckily I am healthy and active enough were I seem to be on a plateau of maintaining ~230lbs. My goal is to eventually get down to around ~200lbs or less. My wife is very fit and supportive, I hope that with that and this community I will achieve my goals. Toughest challenges for me are diet, sleep, and stress. I spend ~2 hours in the car commuting most days , but I do wake up early and exercise for at least 30mins most days. I have a fitbit to track my activity and recently re-upped weightwatchers which has helped me in the past (my wife also joined for herself, but hopefully that will also help keep me in line). My wife is very fit and supportive, I hope that with her and this community I will achieve my goals - I also hope to contribute in any way that I can! Fun facts: I have moved 12 times in my life, 4 countries, 5 states. I speak 4 languages. I used to work in a biotech lab but now in business OF biotech I have an MBA I love star wars, star trek, and pretty much all sci-fi I love exploring the outdoors, travelling, history I play video games, workout, work on DIY house projects to relieve stress Quote Link to comment

Bruns87
At this point just trying to keep things simple by meal planning and focusing on eating more veggies and fruits. Also tracking my food. My fondness for bread and cheese are a weakness. Also trying my best to avoid sweets. 1 Quote Link to comment
