coastie
Due to heredity and a combination of military/soccer/football I have some pretty nasty varicose veins at the age of 30 I take Horse Chesnut everyday to help with leg circulation, and I wear TED hose to work. There is a surgery I can get, but being here in NOLA & in the USCG my medical choices are limited, not to mention that my medical clinic is the worst  . When I get to Alaska that will be one of the first things I inquire about. That said, what can I do in the mean time, aside from elevating my feet in the evenings? My legs are normally killing me after I get done running, eliptical, cross trainer, or insert other cardio exercise. I haven't tried rowing yet, as we only have one row machine at the gym here on the base I live on. Swimming is out for now too, no pools. Will have acces to that in Alaska too so, I'm stumped for now. Quote Link to comment
