A Little Background
I'm a 30 year old Male Computer Programmer. I've tried dieting and working out before with some success. I went from 270 to 240 at one point in time. Then a job switch killed my workout schedule and I let it die off. Last week I weighed in at 302 lbs setting a new personal worst.

Two months back I switched jobs again and that required a wardrobe change. Much to my disgust I had gone up about 4 waist sizes since the last time I had to dress business casual. I decided I was gonna change it up and then immediatly forgot about my resolution. Fast forward to last week, a couple I know wanted someone to show them how to freeweight exercises but didn't want to pay a trainer. So after about two years away from the gym (and gaining 60 pounds) I was finally back. After the first day I couldn't remember why I had ever stopped. I love the feeling I get from weight lifting. I was also turned on to the Nerd Fitness website last week. So after alot of reading around here I was convinced that carbs really aren't good for you. However I know I can't commit to a full Paleo diet while tyring to keep my willpower everything else but I wills tart making the healthier choices.


I decided today that I wanted to track this more publicly and hopefully get some encouragement along the way. I'll be posting on here every workout day with the workout itself and my weigh in's and calories in between.

@Lyric Acantha - It's actually still going pretty good. I'm not working out quite as often as I wanted to but I still get in 2 days every week. When I get home tonight I'll find the paper copies of my workouts and enter them on here. Thanks for checking up on me!
