Short intro to those who haven't met me yet !

 

Mother of 2.

Looking for a job currently .

Stressed ,but working on releasing that with working out.

Into long Distance running !

I usually have a lot on my mind so to me that and long distance running  they go hand in hand =]

LOVE  playing different types of games rpg, first person shooter, puzzles , etc. 

 

 

This week I am trying my best to shorten my one mile run time. I  just use the Nike run app to help me out.  My latest run was 29:25 for 1.96 mi. 

I walked my first lap, jogged 3 and walked on my last lap. 

 

Another note food :

I think I have to decline going over to our friends gathering almost every Sunday because they always cook unhealthy food that just ruin me =[

I tried last Sunday eating my meal before we left , but ended up giving into a grilled cheese/ham/beef sandwich with camp bell's tomato soup . 

This coming Sunday I plan to take my meal with me and eating there . If I feel the need to eat the junk food I want to promise myself to drink more water instead.

 

Also can anyone suggest to me a workout punishment for giving into junk food?  I prefer a workout punishment because I'm really tight on money right now .

any thoughts just let me know below . Thanks for reading !

Hi!

A couple of things:

1) You don't want to develop the attitude that exercise is punishment, so instead,

2) How about every time you resist junk food you put away the equivalent amount of money until you save up enough for a nice non-food treat.

 Ate some popcorn today wiht no butter but the salt i stopped after a few bites

everything else i had today was healthy =D

tried out one part of the Brazilian butt lift and it was an up beat workout. Felt like throwing up afterwards , but I didn't! 

 

I usually do jogging , but it was already late and I didn't feel that safe to go out jogging by myself

So it was Brazilian butt lift. I tired it a couple of weeks ago and couldn't make it even half way through 30 mins.

I'm glad I finished it.

 

On another note I had an Interview and  I felt I did well , but that's what I always think =] 

Just waiting on a call back . Until then I'm still applying to places.

I try not to think of workouts as punishment. So, personally, I wouldn't suggest using exercise as a way to punish yourself. If you must, why not just add burpees into your next workout? You could, say, warmup for your jog, do a pyramid of burpees (2+15s rest, 4+15s rest, etc. up to 10 and back down again) and then carry on with your regularly scheduled jog?

Didn't workout last night . Caught a cold and cough . I did eat zero junk ,but I feel like crap just came to update everyone ! Going back to sleep it's 2am

UUUUUGH, the cold. I was laid out on the couch for like, a week with a horrible sinus cold. It took over my whole body like a plague! Just got back to the gym, and am trying not to psych myself out about "being behind." Watch out for that, when you recover.

Thanks guys! I finally feel better I  almost caught something called Mastitis .

took some acetaminophen as the doc said and it worked all good.

 

I'll be off to an interview  today , but even if I don't get it it's ok because.....I got a call from another place saying they would like to hire me =]  yay!

Later tonight I plan to do some walking to get myself back into the groove =]

Hey everyone!

 

succeeded in getting a job to my liking =] no more being a server .

I feel like my days are zipping by .It's been so long since I've worked a 8-5pm job.

Also on a side note my co workers always try to invite me to eat with them. They usually bring in some fast food and etc.

It's hard because here when you decline to eat someone's food they sometimes take it personally.

How do you tell someone that you're adapting to a new life style/ food habit?

Also do you guys have any input as to which veggies are best to buy ? I feel like since i don't have my meals made for the next days or week that my veggies start turning color and I cook that veggie that night/morning . I don't want to waste my money. I usually do shopping once or twice a month . thanks!

Just bring your own food to eat. Most of the time I get comments about how my food looks better than theirs. And it is :)

Buy the ones you like ;) cook them and freeze what you won't use in a day or two. Try different things. Do you have a farmers market near you? Buy something new, you won't waste much money if it turns out you don't like it.

thanks for the tips! so far so good! yes we do have local markets! found one just 15 mins away from my house. The pros of living on a small island is that almost everything is considered close by!

Hey everyone! Been out  for quite a awhile and fell off the grid. Update: Working full time now !

also not going to lie haven't been fully committed to eating right and workouts. SO I feel more comfortable with my work schedule along with figuring out a routine around everyone else's in my house. 

 

Been thinking a lot and been wanting to post up vlogs about my status and a lil about me here and there all in good time.

Main focus is Time Management .

Food log: morning jack in the box =[ 

                  lunch rib soup with rice.

                  Dinner ramen .

All horrible choices gah =0 

Side note volunteered to cook eggs for work for a pot luck kind of breakfast ...but i was asked to also bake a cake .. =/ 

sooo I'm holding my self accountable to not have a big slice, or  seconds, or thirds......or fourths! I feel like if I deny myself cake at all that I'll more than likely just stuff my face .

Hello ! How is everyone!

 

Had a busy weekend Cleaned the house for a " Seafood Dinner" for the husband for his birthday. 

I didn't even know I could cook four things at once...well i cheated it was mostly baking =] 

 

menu: Baked mussels , bacon wrapped pineapple dates, salmon & shrimp pasta. oh anad Crab!

 

Some friend brought over crab cakes in panko breading.

it was delicious but I enjoyed the salmon the most. Totally left out veggies =/ 

but  I make sure to do the veggies first  next time.

Tonight I plan to finally prep my meals every 3 days( i like it that way because I hate left overs that are 4 days old )

As for frezzing I hate freezing cooked meeat blehh , but i can do so with cooked veggies.
