Pat G Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 First time I've ever worked myself that hard, having nothing left in the tank. It was a very satisfying feeling. Deadlifts + Squats on my Wednesday morning routine were the heaviest I've done since starting training. Finished up a bit jelly legged as per usual. Left the gym. Ate my roast lamb lunch. Went to get up an hour later off my desk chair and literally couldn't. No strength, not even enough to pull my lower leg up horizontal while sitting! I Pulled myself up and realised i could walk if i kept my body weight directly centred and didn't bend my knees too much (Think walking like a toddler or geriatric with a frame). On a humorous note I forgot to watch my form and stepped forward to catch something thrown at me and subsequently collapsed in the middle of the office, then again in the kitchen. lol Quote "Strength is the cup.
