Two Goals Met!

I am so freaking excited. Today, I did my first deadlift at a significant weight for me. I've tried doing lighter weights (I did 30 pounds about 6 months back)... today, I did a 100 pound deadlift. And it is the most awesome thing ever. I am head over heels in love with deadlifts, now. It is my favorite lift in the world.

I also reached a new goal with squats! Today, I did 3 sets of 10 at 140 pounds. It kicked my ass... but I'm thrilled. 5 months ago, I was doing squats at 80 pounds (well, and a fair amount of body weight squats at 280).

Today, it is a good day. I just wanted to share that.

ONWARD!
