Exceliber
This, for me, is a MASSIVE woot. In high school I did track, but poorly. My best mile time back then was 7:28, which was pretty slow even for a small school. I took a few years off running, and really got back into it two years ago. I shattered that 7:28 within a month of training. I was down to 6:43. Then my goal became apparent: beat 6 minutes. I trained and trained; I did some long runs (three half marathons this year), some timed 5ks, and some more time runs. Two nights ago I was feeling good and went for a run, and came out at 6:20, missing my PR by 8 seconds as I later found out. Today, I was determined to do everything I can. Thus: I came, I ran, and I DOMINATED. New personal record: 5:58 for 1 mile! WOOT. Quote The only answer to "You can't do that" is "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED." Fitocracy|Twitter|Food Blog Link to comment
