SkyyStorm
So I have a plan. A plan to improve my weight, appearance, strength and attitude. This plan will be logged here. Usually these attempts of mine fail miserably, so I'm hoping this time it won't. What I'm trying to do. - Lose 30 - 35kg (yeah I live in a country where we use kilograms), mostly through changing my diet.- Improve my overall appearance, mostly by spending more time on my personal hygiene- Start doing body-weight training at home, as well as cardio to improve my stamina. - Improving my demeanor. I get angry way too quickly, and I want to control this more. I think I'll update weekly for now. Later when I start properly training I might update more. --- So the past three weeks I cut out pasta from my diet. This is a pretty big sacrifice for me, I was a huge fan of it. Initially, as with all diets, this didn't feel like a good move. However, yesterday I swear my pants felt looser than I remember. It might be a small glimmer, but it is there. Yesterday I started with (2!) push ups. One has to start somewhere, so I decided on push ups as they are already doable. Every day this week I plan on doing two push ups. Next week I will double it, and do so each week till I can start doing proper body-weight exercise sets. I also had softball practice yesterday, so had some cardio and strength exercise in that regard. Aaand, I've started paleo-ing my lunch. I always ate bread or buns over lunch. I'm going to try and replace this with a meat and fruit equivalent this week. We'll see how that goes. I'll weigh myself tonight to have a baseline to work from. Wish me luck. SkyyStorm
Still sticking to non-bread, non-pasta and non-potato chips so far. I've been looking after my hygiene every day, and also did my two push-ups per day. This morning was harder for two push-ups for some reason. But so far, so good. SkyyStorm
So I failed the last few days. Pretty badly. I ate too much takeout, and didn't really exercise. I did buy a new car, so I got that going for me which is nice. However, I did keep up with hygiene, and I also played a softball match on Saturday in the scorching heat, so I'm sure that burned a few calories. It sure felt like it did. Anyways, today I did my 4 push-ups, packed two nectarines and a yogurt for lunch, and I'm back on my become better quest. SkyyStorm
Much better day yesterday. Kept my bread and take-out to a minimum (one slice of bread with cheese), and also had some 'boerewors' and two baked eggs for dinner. I did eat some flavoured rice crackers though. We had practice at softball, which included base running, which tired me out like crazy! But then it started raining, and after a few infield drills the rain and wind was too much and we cancelled practice. 4 push-ups done this morning. SkyyStorm
I failed the past several days. I did a few push ups, played a league game of softball, but ate really badly. So...I'm starting over this week, still on 4 push ups per day.... :< Grades for my performance the last four daysWeight Loss : EStrength : CHygiene : DAttitude : C "That which does not kill you, makes you stronger."
