mademoisellebarbell
Hello there My name is Ramona and I'm a 21 years old student from germany (you will have to excuse me for my bad english). I'm new here but not new to fitness. Actually I'm a weightlifter but I have a spinal disease so I can't do weightlifting at the moment. Instead, I do "normal" strength training at a gym (squats, deadlifts and all the other classics). I'm here because I have some quests I want to focus on and I'm trying to reach them with the help of the 6-week challenges (which are very motivating). Fitness goalTo restart weightlifting and to win a competitionTo do a pull upTo do a handstandTo do a splitTo increase strength (the never-ending goal)To climb a mountain Life goals To recover from my spinal diseaseTo fight my depressive phasesTo finish my studies (and the probation year)To become a personal trainerTo go skydivingTo travel the world Thanks for reading Quote Level 0 WarriorSTR 0 | DEX 0 | STA 0 | CON 0 | WIS 0 | CHA 0my introduction | current challenge Link to comment
SpecialSundae
Hello and welcome! Don't worry about whether you have bad English, I'd hazard a guess it'll be better than plenty of native English speakers (plus there are loads of other German Nerds around). That sucks about the spinal disease. Which one is it? Always good to have another lady in the warriors, though. Hope to see you around soon! Sundae Quote Link to comment
mademoisellebarbell
I have scoliosis. I have to go to a rehab center for 3 weeks. When this doesn't help I can never do weightlifting again... But I hope for the best Quote Level 0 WarriorSTR 0 | DEX 0 | STA 0 | CON 0 | WIS 0 | CHA 0my introduction | current challenge Link to comment
SpecialSundae
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I had a couple of friends with scoliosis but neither lifted, so that's not much help! Powerlifting is still fun, though. :-p Quote Link to comment
mademoisellebarbell
Okay, I will remember that when I can't do weightlifting anymore Quote Level 0 WarriorSTR 0 | DEX 0 | STA 0 | CON 0 | WIS 0 | CHA 0my introduction | current challenge Link to comment
