Kaitlyn_s
Hi, I'm Kaitlyn. I've been over weight my entire life and I have finally hit 300 pounds which standing at 5'2 really sucks. I want to change this, and I want the change to stick. Right now my plan is to start exercising 30 min 5 days a week, and the big one is to start cooking and eating at home... I just eat out too much. I'm starting slow and will be working with my friend to make my goals happen. I really like the way Nerd Fitness Academy is set up and I plan on makeing this fun for me instead of seeming like work. Does any one have any advice for someone new? Quote Link to comment
Hyperion
Welcome! Happy to have you here! There is lot of advice from many advisors available here. Now it's all about what you want to do, and how rough you want it to be. There are some good basic programs and even more specialised ones available on this forum. Don't be afraid to ask! Artemis
Welcome to the rebellio! It sounds like you're interested in the academy, and while I don't have personal experience with the program, i know that many people love it. Whether or not you decide to go that route, I definitely recommend joining the current 6 week challenge with the recruits (talk your friend into signing up too ). You are more than welcome to start late and this is a great way to meet new people, gain accountabilli buddies, and learn some new things. Bonus: they're great fun Quote "Fairy tales are more than true not because they tell us dragons exist, but because they tell us dragons can be beaten" -Neil Gaiman Mandalorian Assassin: Level 5 Current Challenge - Artemis becomes Mandalorian Overall Weight Loss Journey: Starting Weight - Current Weight - Goal -160lbs Link to comment
