Welcome! I am really enjoying the setup. And it's fun to see progress being made by doing things daily. I've made a pretty good dent in the blackberries, probably 1/3 to 1/2 way done clearing them from immediately adjacent to the house. It's pretty cool how just requiring myself to chop or dig one blackberry vine every day (although I usually end up doing quite a bit more) adds up. -

I'm glad it resonated with you! Some days it's just like that, right? -

Not sure why that is striking me so hard, but it is. Profound.

Wednesday Review: Take three breaths✔️ Take a step back from the mirror and look at myself. Make silly faces. ✔️ Do ten minutes of strength training. ✔️ Reduce screen time by one hour. It's just a distraction. Remember to look up and around when I’m walking instead of looking down. ✔️ Practice oral hygiene and skin care every evening. ✔️ Reflect on something good that happened that day. ✔️ Mid Week Thoughts: I did lower body strength training for exactly ten minutes. It was horrible. I'm glad I did it. My screen time is low at a record 3 hours. That's because I spent all day on my laptop!! So I am not giving myself a checkmark for today because I know I probably hit my average time with my computer. I think I need to revisit the screen time goal for week 2 and focus more on the times of day I want to use screens because I realize: I use my screens for work too! OOOOH The good thing about today was I went out to dinner with my cousin! It was great! I felt pretty low this morning, and spending time with her was just really relaxing and fun. I appreciate the relationship we have. It's also clear I need to get out of the house sometimes. I'm glad I signed up for the ukulele class! And on my walk today, I looked straight up and saw the moon! It was 10am! Where are you going, Moon? -
Poking in here to say hey and follow along. Big challenges might be 'exciting' - but it's the weeks of holding the line that set habits into lifestyles, so mad props on doing that!
