    • @TimovieMan you currently show as active on this thread and your own, so it looks like I can also track how many tabs you have open, in addition to all my other stalker-data I'm compiling. (Pinging @Heidi so she can satisfy her fatal flaw with the answer because I'm apparently an enabler as well as a stalker.)
    • This is true, the office in general had a good atmosphere, but insufficient workload (which isn't on the chart, probably because that goes more to bore-out than burn-out), lack of growth opportunities, and low pay all contributed to me pursuing an opportunity in another department. Although in fairness, I will say the low pay is more in comparison to what most of the office was making, it was actually up to that point the highest paying job I'd ever had, which probably says more about my less-than-ideal career choices coming out of college than anything else.
    • Holy Moly, well done Sir! I think my highest step day is 12.5 miles, and that was a distant while ago.   Are you joining the West Marches side campaign? Looks like there's a walking group gathering at the Emberwood Inn.
    • 27/9 - 233.7 lb 8/10 - 228.5lb 17/10 - 232lb 22/10 - 230lb   basically i have no idea why my weight jumped so much, but apprently its going back to what it was before? Metabolisms are odd
    • CORRECT, and I think @Artemis Prime recently made a job move explicitly becuase of the Bore-out factor (lots of downtime, primarily, even though everything else seemed fine). Gallup's latest employee engagement survey (2023) showed that, among other things, "Clarity of expectations fell across demographic categories and job types," and I think this is a pretty telling factor for a year that saw active engagement go down and active disengagement go up. I haven't done a study or anything, but I wonder how often burnout first presents itself as active disengagement.   Okay, now I must know this. Not becuase I'm king. Becuase it's my fatal flaw.
    • How does it work if you're like me and have 27 different threads open at the same time? Showing me as "active" in all of them? Or only in the one that's actually on my screen at the moment?
    • Ug… Covid sucks.  I hope you were able to kick its ugly rear.  Following!
    • Love your challenge and here to follow!
    • Got a swim in today. It is unexpectedly chilly out there but was still nice to see everyone for a chat and some wave jumping. Accidentally went in with my neckwarmer still on.  part way through drawing man eating plants in my bujo (before you ask, yes i did rip of little pet shop of horrors. Had to be done). Sadly doesnt look like much until i get the colour on.    room clearance ongoing. Chucked some stuff that needed to go but was hard to get rid of. Sometimes i wish i was less sentimental. It would make this kind of thing simpler.    ankle rehab definitely makes the difference. Currently doing the stretches in the morning and it seems to be really helping (surprise surprise).    moisturising routine also going okish. I am remembering about 50% of the time so need to make myself a post it note or something.  still trying to mix my wardrobe up and it now cold enough that I've migrated into long sleeved tshirts. Usually i layer tshirts in the winter but am a bit bored with that so have got a couple of vests to go under instead. Hopefully it will be comfortable.    soft no spend is going. Trying to stick to buying things i need, so digging through my books of my kindle. Lots of ones i haven't read so i should be fine on that front.  found a second hand copy of tommorow and tommorow and tomorrow by Gabrielle zevin (which ive fancied reading for while ) whilst hunting for xmas presents for the family. Usually do them a pile of second hand novels (with a smattering of cookery and history books) each, so getting started early can be important as it takes a while to hunt out good ones.  litnus test will really be when i go to town tomorrow to get a new jumper.
