Finally feeling less achey today and ready to lift some weight tomorrow. We made the most of daylight savings to get extra sleep and spend another lovely morning in bed. Just about got out of the sheets in time to attend the Ranger Dnd session, which was a lot of fun. Deffy was kind enough to do plenty of housework in the meantime, since she wasn't meeting her parents this Sunday. She also converted some veggies into lovely soup, which we'll have for lunch tomorrow (today's lunch was leftover pizza btw) and also stored some servings in the freezer. We then had a lovely shower each and settled down with some chicken kiev to watch Labyrinth. Which I've never seen before. No food pictures tonight, but since my dad is having an adventure in Bolivia, have a baby llama instead: -

27th October, 2024 Dear Inspector Nightingale, Honestly, I could as well, though it's probably difficult to document the 1930s without them. Would you settle for a factual annotation? Something like "Edward Windsor, apart from being a fashionable man about town with nice flannel suits, was a known pro-Hitler fascist. Documentation suggests he not only actively collaborated with Hitler during the war but encouraged the German bombing of Britain. His abdication was not forced because he planned to marry a divorced woman, but because the government learned their alarmingly fascist king was sharing secret documents with with his pro-Nazi fiancee, which she in turn was passing on to the German ambassador." Because I think I could manage that. Sincerely, Sara Kingdom Trainee at Large, Society of the Wise -
