SanguineFool Posted April 26, 2018 Report Share Posted April 26, 2018 Hello, all. So, for the past three years or so I've been trying half-heartedly to get in shape. When I was in high school I loved running cross-country and, for a while, was doing sixty miles a week. Then high school ended and, nearly a decade later, I'm woefully out of shape. But even though I was skinny in high school, I didn't have the physique I wanted and had no clue how to go about getting it. Now, about nine years later, I still have no idea but I'm also contending with about 40 pounds of unwanted weight. I joined NF because, in one of the blog posts, Steve said something to the effect of, "If you keep doing what you're doing, you're going to keep getting the same results." And it kind of dawned on me that I was running in circles. At times, literally. I might lose a few pounds but I'd always gain it back and then some. I'm open to suggestions or pointers (encourage them actually) as I try to navigate this exciting chapter of my life. So. Here goes nothing. Quote Link to comment

My best suggestion is to pick one that looks interesting, and then do that a few times a week.
