Lucas Posted October 27, 2010 Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 I just want to say publicly that I'm very proud of my wife for completing the Army 10 miler. Last year she was "rerouted" as she wasn't making time, but this year she finished with 16-minute miles, and while she officially finished ahead of 100 or so people out of 21,000, 14,000 people didn't show up or didn't finish. She's not a hardcore runner right now, but she's becoming more fitness oriented for the same reasons I am, that being we need to set a good example for our babies. She's exercising a few times a week and looking forward to doing more races, which I know she'll do much better at as she trains, and after I buy her some better shoes than the Costco ones she previously had.
