I know my destination, just need help planning course...

Quick bio:

6'3", 205, Desktop Support Specialist. Crazy about adventure 5ks, new (and cheap) ways to workout, and big fan of all things techie and geeky.

Why I'm here:

1) need a bit of motivation to get me to stay with this stuff. I know I can be in great shape, and it really helps my mood to stay in shape, but I seem to be my own worst enemy when it comes to motivation.

2)To be a part of a community. I've been looking for somewhere to mix my passion of both things nerd and things fitness.

I love to meet and talk to new people, so please feel free to say hi!

Welcome aboard!

I know what you mean about the whole motivation thing. What I did was forgo the whole "how do I motivate myself?" question and decided that I was going to go to the gym every week day (same time every day which was after work for me) for 1 month straight, no if's, and's or but's. After doing that it turned in to a habit and something that I just do every weekday. I've since changed to going during lunch, but I still workout every weekday... I like to take the weekends off :tongue:

A quick note... When attempting the advance bodyweight workout, please remember to check you sanity first...

I did two cycle with chair assisted pullups and chinups.

I want my obituary to read "didn't read nerd fitness warning well enough"
