unicornassassin
I was able to get into bird of paradise pose today! Easily!!!!! It looks like this and you start squatting basically while holding your leg, and then stand up. I was able to do it! I was wobbly once I got up, but I'm strong enough! I have barbell squats to thank for that. Woohoo! The last time I tried that pose, I was able to get my heel off the ground and and kind of balance on my toes, but that's it.Also, I was helping a friend move the other day, and when I lifted my end of a couch, someone complimented my form. That felt pretty great.
