Innkeeper Posted May 8, 2012 Report Share Posted May 8, 2012 During the previous challenge, I fell off the wagon in March.I was missing training runs. I was starting to drink soda and eat candy again. I was not meditating.And to top it off, even though the graduate school interview went well, I didn't get in.But, this past Sunday, I ran the half-marathon I've been training for and shaved off 23 minutes from last year.I'm too late for this current challenge. But I'm going to start blogging again, as I explore martial arts and begin strength training.A big thanks to this community for being so inspiring. Nothing outstanding, but a step up for myself.@21katykat01: I've tried out a muay thai gym, and I want to try some other styles as well, including jujutsu, boxing, tai chi and maybe ba gua.
