FastFox Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 As of yesterday afternoon my longest distance in a single ride is now 65 miles. My previous distance; 43 miles. My longest distance this season since it's been warm enough out to bike; 8 miles (just running errands, but it kinda counts). I was on my heavy mountain bike, it was REALLY windy, and there were some killer hills. I almost turned back, cried, and /or called a friend to come pick me up several times, but I didn't! My dad has been a competitive cyclist for many years, and I look to him for inspiration. I want to be strong enough to join him on one of his 100 mile rides, and not totally die. Link to comment
