BatDad
When I was a kid, I was sickly. Each year, I had several cases of severe tonsilitis. I never ate, and I always looked tired, pale, and lethargic. When I was about six years old, everything changed. I got my tonsils removed, and I began to eat. I started to feel better, too! Until one day... An act of violent crime rocked my family. I was still young at the time, and I started to use food to cope with this traumatic experience. I've been battling with my fluctuating weight gain and loss for three decades now. I've tried so many times to live a healthier, more sustainable, and consistent life, but I feel like all my attempts have failed. Today, I listened to a podcast episode with the founder of Nerd Fitness, so here I am. I am starting again, trying to be a better person and live healthily for myself and my family. I'd like to try to find a small party to join to help encourage and keep me going. Feeling hopeful but weathered. - BatDad signing off. 3 Quote Link to comment

ViperN7
Welcome to the Nerd Fitness Rebellion! You've come to the right place for encouragement. By the way, I don't know if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but there is a "Diet Fatigue" group over in the Guilds/Clubs/Groups tab. Quote Link to comment
