ladyofthebog
I’m back! Looking forward to the next challenge cycle. It’s been while. Summer has me more devoted to the gym mostly because my kids (3 and 7 now!) like the gym daycare and, honestly, as a stahm, the break in the day keeps me sane. Lately, I’ve been dipping all around on workout type mostly because my best mom friend has me gotten me into taking classes (strength and conditioning, Zumba, step, I can barely believe it ?) while still trying to get the heavy lifts in. Our garage gym is really rounded out now, excellent squat rack with many plates, dumbbells, a cable machine type thing, an exercise bike, a treadmill but I’m not really taking advantage of it. Still, I am finally feeling like myself 3 years postpartum. ! Deadlifted 225 x7 for four sets today! Considering my body weight I feel great about this. Im genuinely curious about my one rep max? How to get there? The 225 was tough but def had some more gas in my tank. anyway, glad to be here with all you fine folks and so glad these boards are still alive!! 2 Quote Daily Battle Log, Sweat like an Orc, Live like a Hobbit, and Look like an Elf “As the Wheel of Time turns, places wear many names. Men wear many names, many faces. Different faces, but always the same man. Yet no one knows the Great Pattern the Wheel weaves, or even the Pattern of an Age. We can only watch, and study, and hope.” Robert Jordan, The Eye of the World Link to comment
