Any rebels want to try their hand at post-apocalyptic zombie survival this weekend?

If you're into video games, everyone has been raving about the "DayZ" mod to ArmaII. I had never heard of the game before, but check out this link for some insight to the mod: http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/111947

It's basically a zombie survival game, but more "realistic" than most others. You can break bones, bleed out, and once you're dead, you have to start over.

My girlfriend has a friend coming in from out-of-town this weekend, so I'm going to have a lot of free time on my hands

Any NF'sers want to team up and try to survive for a few hours?

So I'll bump this thread. My kids started talking about this mod and when they said Zombies, I was intrigued.

I looked it up and wouldn't you know it, Arma2 is on sale at Steam for $24. I bought it and tried the Dayz mod.

Not bad. I've managed to live longer than the average but it's tricky. The controls are really hard to get used to and there is some good resources on the web. So far I've just stuck around a small town and hunting stand to gain some guns, ammo and food. My son tried it and he just ran into town, hooked up with 2 other survivors and after about an hour, they shot and looted him. I think I'll be a bit more careful around other survivors until I can get some fire power.
