The Tin Man
I did it! My knee started killing me around mile 7.5 which is bad, seeing as I was feeling great and was ready to kick up my pace. I had to walk But my run/angry walk pace wasn't bad and I finished just less than 6 minutes off my goal time, at 2:18:05. I can't wait for the next one so I can finish it properly! My feelings are mixed. I'm frustrated I had to walk but optimistic at how much darn energy I had. I spent much of the time walking being frustrated, practically wanting to yell "I'm not that tired!" I can only wonder what my time would've been. Next time, but still a woot!
