Ghost
Ghost here,I need to get consistent in my exercise, goals usually help, but I need something to push me on.There was a thread earlier that tricked me into doing pushups, and I felt compelled to do 26, which was one more than the previous highest. So competition seems to help. I haven't tried having someone tell me to constantly do anything so I don't feelcompelled to do anything. My current plan is spontaneous exercise, and busting out 5 pushups per death on Battlefield 3.Of course in my mind I know what to do, but I'm not disciplined enough to bring it to bear.Help. Advice. Ideas. Please? Link to comment
Flatsnap
Here's a pretty good article on generating your own motivation. If you really want someone telling you to exercise, you could always make a plan and set it up in google calendar or similar so that you get notifications when it's workout time. Then you don't have to rely on someone else (who may have motivation issues of their own, after all. Computers are reliable.) morethanjustamom
Maybe do a PvP during the next challenge? I thought the Loren Wade/Barefoot Dawsy challenge of manliness was awesome, because it incorporated more than one thing, and used an objective points system.
