lifesavin
I stumbled upon this site looking for a way to improve my pull ups. I've been working out for a little over a year. Started at 280lbs, now down to 220.What do the abbreviations mean? STR: 6 | DEX: 1 | CON: 1 | STA: 2 | WIS: 3 | CHA: 2. How do you get these numbers. Also how do I know which category to join? Warrior, ranger, scout and so on.Thanks in advance for the help.Andy Link to comment
Pat G
Gday AndyEssentially, the stats you detail are a new addition to our 6-weekly challenges that we have set ourselves, and as we complete goals we set for ourselves within the 6 week period (next one starts 18 Jun) we attribute more points. Just a nerdy way of leveling up. As for which category to join, the Guilds are broken down into what kind of exercise type you prefer. Warriors are all about lifting heavyRangers are about lifting + high intensity workouts such as Crossfit Scouts are all about running, biking swimming, Monks, train in martial artsDruids, do yogaAdventurers, do a bit of everything.Mind you you aren't stuck into one type of exercise, for example you'll find scouts that lift heavy weights, but just prefer running. Great work on your life gain, dropping 60lbs is awesome. As for chin ups, have a read of Tom Kenobis next Six Week challenge outline http://www.nerdfitness.com/community/entry.php?8952-6-Week-Challenge-Outline-06-18-2012-06-30-12 He's following a 20 chinup program that you might be interested in. lifesavin
Right on. I get it now.I will have to look through the "classes" and figure out where to put myself. Hopefully I will be able to find something to fits. Might have to wait to start a challenge. My workout buddys and I are in the middle of trying a lean out phase. Doing high reps lower weight. Two days a week we do:30 inverted pullups30 box jumps30 push ups 30 kettlebell swing and jerks per side30 Russian twists30 curl to Arnold press.30 hanging leg raisesSprint for 1 min as fast as possible.Trying to do this multiple times Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 Link to comment
