signalguy
Ran the Mt Washington Road Race this past weekend. It was an epic jaunt up the highest peak in the northeast and a humbling experience. Once we crested the treeline at mile 4, the remaining 3.6 miles was grueling. The average grade of the entire road is around 11% with the last couple of hundred feet punishing you at 22%. You could almost touch the road in front of you. Here's my photobucket album from the race. Daily Mile My BJJ Life Link to comment

Georges
Woot! Awesome! Did you get one of those bumper stickers for bragging rights? I've wanted to do that for years now, but I've always been afraid I couldn't finish it in time...What's the traffic like when the road gets re-opened? This used to be where my weight loss progress bar was. Maybe it will be here again when I'm ready to face the scale and work on my fat problem. The last few people to finish are 87 and 92, though there were a few people behind them. Don't get passed by a 92 year old man.I finished in 2:10, which is about 15 minutes slower than my half marathon time. Think I could shave 15 minutes off that next year.Traffic going down wasn't bad at all but we were near the front of the line going down. Daily Mile My BJJ Life Link to comment
