My 2 cents:

hmm..i face a similar situation once...where this guy who leaned on me once or twice when he seriously needed help, forgot to invite me to his wedding. I received a tele-invitation from a mutual friend of ours who said he was taking care of the invitations.

On the day of the wedding, he forgot to introduce me to the bride.

So I don't know...Sometimes I feel that he genuinely forgot and what happened at the wedding was an accident...or feel that he didn't want to invite me and hence did not introduce me.

However I still wouldn't put it down as a total loss. That day I got together with a lot of other friends from distant places who wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for the wedding.

I guess, it's upto you whether flashing your wedding ring in from of your ex is worth the risk or not.
