wildfeather111
Alright, so I have not done squats since my sophomore year in high school (roughly 5 and a half years ago). I finally made the decision to start training with freeweights again. Today I was doing my first set of squats with an Olympic Bar and 25's on each side. A woman who was standing near me, who happens to be one of the fittest women I have seen in my college rec center, looks over and says "I hope that one day I can squat that much." This totally caught me off guard, as I haven't lifted in a long time, and have no idea of how I stack up with other people. So I don't know if this is actually impressive to anyone else but me. I just felt a little bit more motivation to continue lifting. At my school very few women venture into the freeweight section. It's good to hear that I might be on the right track...
