Measurements

Hi all,

I've just begun taking measurements and had a question. In certain areas, like the chest, I have sort of competing size goals. I'm working out, which should increase size, but I am also trying to lose the fat covering those areas. So should I be looking for my measurements to go up, down, or remain the same at this point? What would be progress?

If you're working out and eating a calorie deficit to lose weight, you should want your numbers to go down.

The only time you want the numbers to go up is if you're trying to gain.

I'm definitely eating a deficit and trying to lose. But my hope is that I will lose fat and make at least slight muscle gains. My primary goal is fat loss, but I want to at least maintain muscle and hopefully gain.
