titsworth
I thought it would be fun to start a New Years resolution thread (though I prefer the term goals, since resolutions have a stigma about them). Here are mine! 1. Run five 5k races 2. Run two 10k races 3. Run a half marathon 4. Run the Warrior Dash 5. Have a six pack (or some semblance thereof) 6. 100 Pushups in a row 7. 25 pull-ups in a row 8. Less than 25 minute 5k 9. Finish web site project 10. Read 10 books 11. Restart Geek Into Shape podcast What are yours? It's ok if you don't have 11, but it was fun coming up with that many. Quote Ranger - Rheno - Rising Hero Link to comment

southoc
Great goals. I'm following your blog! Quote Link to comment
titsworth
I think your first program should flash the numbers in Pi on the screen for a few seconds at a time to help you memorize them Also, I dig the 5 minute plank goal... I'm not sure how long I can hold one, but I'm going for 5 minutes too. How much weight do you have to lose to get to 200? Quote Ranger - Rheno - Rising Hero Link to comment
CokeCanNinja
I'm currently right around 230-225. I don't own a scale so I don't know exactly, but tomorrow winter break is over and I go back to school where they have a scale. Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! Link to comment

Cacophony
Hmmmm... my problem with goals is I tend to have everything regimented and marching in a line already. LOL I'm kinda goal oriented naturally. Let's see what I have on my plate right now: 1: Continue working towards my Personal Fitness Trainer diploma on a 3 course load, no term breaks 2: Go to the Personal Fitness Trainers Conference put out by the NSCA in Vegas in March 3: Attend the Agatsu Conference in June in Toronto 4: Pass my AKC2 Certification at the Agatsu Conference and Kick Tail on the physical requirements 5: Certify the Greyhound as a Therapy Animal and set up at least one visit a month 6: Pink and Shave for the St. Valentine's Hair Massacure in February 7: Take one day off every two weeks this summer and go do something out of the ordinary with the kids 8: Paint murals in my son's bedroom - he wants a Robot theme 9: Get the upstairs bathroom renovated. It's becoming scary. Okay, here's where I actually have to think. The goals above are already in the works. 10: I like the 5 minute plank idea and I'm going to jump on that wagon. I'm good for about 30 seconds right now 11: Keep a potted fern alive for the entire year. It will be a first if I succeed. Quote . ~*~ Some things make ripples... I prefer to make waves. ~*~ .
